Indie makeup brand Fire Vixen (@firevixen.co) launched the Eternal Bond Retractable Lip Liners on 2 October 2026 at 12pm PST, priced at $12 each or $32 for the trio (US). They are the third drop of the brand's medieval-inspired Mid-Evil Collection. The three shades, Cursed, Thornspell and Mourning Rose, are designed to pair with the collection's Regal Kiss liquid lipstick (which BeautyTalkClub covered earlier) and Armor Gleam gloss.

Release Date

The Eternal Bond lip liners launched on 2 October 2026 at 12pm PST on the Fire Vixen website. They are sold individually and as a trio.

The Shades

The three shades follow the collection's dark, gothic theme:

• Cursed: a medium brown for an everyday lined lip
• Thornspell: a deep dark brown for bold definition and contrast
• Mourning Rose: a rich burgundy that pairs with berry and wine-toned lip colours

What the Brand Says

According to Fire Vixen, the formula glides on effortlessly and is pigmented, creamy, long lasting and blendable. The brand says it created the retractable liner to "bond perfectly" with its Armor Gleam gloss and Regal Kiss liquid lipstick. The pencils are retractable and bendable, so they don't need a sharpener.

The packaging is a black barrel printed with "Fire Vixen.co", sold in a black box with holographic trim and gothic "Eternal Bond" lettering.

How to Wear Them

• Define first: Trace your natural lip line with the liner, then soften the edges inward with a fingertip or lip brush.
• Glossy ombré: Line with Thornspell or Mourning Rose, blur it toward the centre, and top with Armor Gleam gloss.
• Matte and sculpted: Fill in the entire lip with Cursed as a base before applying Regal Kiss liquid lipstick. The liner gives the colour something to grip and keeps the edges crisp.

Maybelline has launched its Holiday 2026 Glimmer Collection, a limited-edition holiday range of six Super Stay Vinyl Ink Glimmer liquid lipsticks at $13.99 each and four Lifter Liner Glimmer lip liners at $9.99 each. Both are available now in the US at Ulta Beauty, online only.

What's New

The collection adds a new glimmer finish to two existing Maybelline lip products. Each Vinyl Ink shade comes in sparkly packaging that matches the shimmer inside, so the colour and reflect are visible on the shelf.

Super Stay Vinyl Ink Glimmer Shades

The six liquid lipstick shades are named after gemstones:

What the Brand Says

According to Maybelline, the Vinyl Ink Glimmer formula uses Color-Lock technology with glimmer pearls and is infused with tourmaline powder. The brand says it gives intense colour in one swipe, is smudge-proof and transfer-proof, and lasts up to 16 hours. Maybelline reports that "93% agree product gives intense color."

The Lifter Liner Glimmer has a smooth-glide, moisture-locking formula with hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil, according to the brand.

How to Wear It

Maybelline advises shaking the Vinyl Ink for 5 seconds before applying. The brand suggests three ways to wear the Lifter Liner:

• lined at the edges and blended inward as a gradient
• filled in across the full lip
• combined with a Vinyl Ink Glimmer shade

For a full look, Maybelline's "Chromatic Glimmer" pairs Lash Sensational Sky High mascara in Silver Chrome with Vinyl Ink Glimmer in Tourmaline and Lifter Liner Glimmer in Hidden Gem.

Ravie Beauty released four new shades of its Soft Definition™ Longwear Lip Liner on 25 September 2026, bringing the range to eight shades at $18 (US) each. The new shades are Macaron, Strawberry, Truffle and Plum, and they are available now at ravie.com.

What's New: Four Fresh Shades

The release date for the new shades was 25 September 2026 on Ravie Beauty's official site. The additions are:

• Macaron: a soft neutral pink
• Strawberry: a bright neutral pink
• Truffle: a medium cool brown, deeper and greyer than Almond
• Plum: a neutral berry brown

They join the original four: Honey (muted neutral beige), Almond (cool brown), Fig (neutral mauve) and Mocha (deep brown). According to Ravie, a shade close to your natural lip colour gives subtle definition, while a deeper shade gives more contrast. The brand points to Almond or Truffle for more shape and contrast, and to Strawberry or Plum for more colour.

Ravie Beauty describes Soft Definition™ as a liner that is creamy and blendable but also longwear. According to the brand:

• Smooth glide: it glides on easily, even along the outer edge of the lips. Ravie credits jojoba and other conditioning ingredients for the smooth, creamy feel.
• Blendable before it sets: the edges can be softened with a fingertip while the formula is still creamy.

How to Use It

1. Line your lips. Outline them, or fill them in completely for more colour. For softer edges, blend with a fingertip straight away. Working one section at a time helps.
2. Let it set. Give it a moment before adding lipstick, gloss or balm on top.
3. Wear. According to Ravie, it stays in place once set.

Ravie also suggests filling in the whole lip with liner before adding lipstick or gloss. The brand says this helps the colour on top last longer, or the liner can be worn alone. The pencil is sharpenable, so any compatible cosmetic sharpener can be used to refresh the tip.

All eight shades cost $18 each in the US. The price is the same for the original shades and the new ones. Ravie describes the formula as clean, vegan, cruelty-free and made in the USA. The brand also says it will make things right if a shade isn't what you expected.

ColourPop released its Fallen Collection for autumn 2026 on 29 September 2026, with prices from $9 to $107 (US). The collection includes a 15-pan eyeshadow palette, five Cloud Whip Lip & Cheek Puddings and four Cloud Whip Blurring Lip Liners. According to ColourPop, it pairs warm autumn tones and earthy neutrals with moody pops, "to mix, match, and layer." It's available now on colourpop.com. Below are the products, shades and prices.

The Fallen Eyeshadow Palette ($23)

The collection's main product is a 15-pan pressed powder palette. According to ColourPop, it goes from cosy autumn warmth to moody grunge, with creamy mattes, metallic shimmers and multidimensional chrome finishes. The shades are:

ColourPop says these whipped Lip & Cheek Puddings give soft, buildable colour with a weightless texture made to blend. Each comes with a Silicon Jelly Wand. According to the brand, the wand picks up just the right amount of product and melts it onto skin in one smooth swipe. There are five shades:
