What Makes the Power Grip Gold Drip Duo Different?

• Both formulas add gold micro-shimmer flecks to the existing Power Grip formats.
• The primer keeps the original sticky gel texture, and the spray uses a shake-to-activate bi-phase formula.
• e.l.f. sells the duo as a limited edition, and the Gold Drip Primer comes in a 30 ml tube versus the original's 24 ml regular size, at the same £11 UK price.

The Gold Drip Setting Spray (80 ml / 2.7 fl oz, £11) sits alongside the core e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray, which e.l.f. UK also sells at £11. The main change across both Gold Drip products is the added gold micro-shimmer.

Formula and Packaging

e.l.f. says both products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free, and the primer page cites Leaping Bunny and PETA certification. The brand's swatch images show the primer as a gold gel and the spray as a white bi-phase swatch. e.l.f. also shares before/after images and campaign shots of both products on a gold background.

How to use, per e.l.f.: Start with clean, moisturised skin, let the moisturiser absorb for 1–2 minutes, then apply a pea-sized amount of primer. Shake the setting spray to activate both phases, then mist from about 6 inches away with eyes and lips closed.

Skindinavia is launching three new Makeup Finishing Sprays, its first new sprays since 2016, on Tuesday, 6 October 2026. They will be sold in the US on Amazon and in Skindinavia's professional stores, with prices starting at $16 for a 2 oz bottle. The new range has a Matte spray, the returning Glow spray, and the renamed bestseller All Day / All Night, which was previously the Bridal formula. The brand announced the launch on its Instagram.

What's New

• All Day / All Night is the new name for the Bridal Makeup Finishing Spray. The formula is unchanged. Skindinavia says it renamed the spray because "lots of people thought this was just for weddings." It comes in a black bottle with a pink label.
• All Day / All Night Neroli Scent is the same bestseller with a light orange blossom (neroli) scent. It comes in a black bottle with an orange label.
• Matte is intended for oily and combination skin. The brand calls it one of "the first adjustable makeup setting sprays." It comes in a silver bottle.
• Glow is a dewy-finish spray for dry and normal skin. According to Skindinavia, it won an Allure Best of Beauty award in 2024 before "our former partner discontinued it inexplicably." Amazon lists hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and blue agave extract among its ingredients. It comes in a gold bottle.

What Isn't Changing

According to Skindinavia, these stay the same:

• Prices, which the brand says have been "same since 2007"
• Quality, with the "same or more active ingredients"
• Manufacturing, in the same US factory with the same team
• The Bridal formula itself

What's Being Discontinued

• The classic Makeup Finishing Spray is being dropped because its formula is nearly identical to Bridal.
• The Makeup Primer Sprays are being dropped because, the brand says, they "didn't sell very well." Skindinavia says it is considering a new version for late 2027.

Both will stay on Skindinavia.com for about another month, so customers can stock up.

CAIA That Blurred Look Smoothing Setting Spray is a 100 ml radiant matte setting mist with niacinamide, modified rice starch and bentonite clay. Swedish brand CAIA Cosmetics released it on 1 October 2026 at 8 AM CEST for €27 in the EU and £24 in the UK, through its own EU and UK sites. CAIA describes it as "almost like setting powder in spray form": a weightless mist that, according to the brand, blurs, sets and mattifies in one step.

Release Date

CAIA launched That Blurred Look Setting Spray on 1 October 2026 at 8 AM CEST on caiacosmetics.com and caiacosmetics.co.uk. It arrived the same week as another matte-finish setting spray launch, the Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Sprays, whose three new sprays, including a Matte spray, went on sale in the US on 6 October 2026.

What Makes the That Blurred Look Setting Spray Different?

• It is the first spray in CAIA's setting spray family with a radiant matte, waterproof finish.
• It uses oil-absorbing powders in a mist: modified rice starch (distarch phosphate) and bentonite clay, which CAIA compares to setting powder in spray form.

How to Use

CAIA's directions are to apply makeup as usual, then shake the bottle very well. Close your eyes and mouth, hold the bottle about 30 cm from your face, and mist 3–4 times for even coverage across the whole face before letting it set. The brand says its specially designed pump spreads the mist evenly.
