Orders placed now dispatch from 24 October 2026. It is one of this season's retailer-built advent calendars.

When Did the Oz Hair and Beauty Advent Calendar Launch?

Oz Hair and Beauty hasn't announced an official release date. The 2026 calendar was first listed for pre-order at ozhairandbeauty.com on 14 September 2026. The retailer's own blog post, "The 2026 Oz Hair and Beauty Advent Calendar Has Arrived", says it is "officially available to pre-order now." The product page states that it is a pre-order and that it will be dispatched from 24 October 2026.

How Much Does It Cost?

The Single box costs A$199.95. Buying the 24 products one by one would cost A$485.08, according to the retailer, which advertises the calendar as "59% Off" that struck-through value. The multi-box bundles are straight multiples of the single price:

What Makes the Oz Hair and Beauty Advent Calendar Different?

• The skincare lineup grew. The retailer's 2025 launch blog listed Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant 13g, Aspect Purastat 5 Cleanser 7ml, and Ms Morning Dawn Break Moi Starter 20g and Get Ready Bi-Phase Face Oil 15ml. The 2026 lineup includes Biodance, Murad, Endota, Alpha-H and Skinstitut, plus a Vida Glow collagen supplement, alongside the haircare.
• The lifestyle extras changed. The 2025 box included an Ecoya Candle 80g among its extras. The 2026 box includes a Casa Della silk scrunchie and The Brush Company's mini polisher instead.
• The stated value is higher than last year's. The 2026 product page states a value of A$485.08 at a price of A$199.95. 7NEWS (28 November 2025) reported the 2025 edition's total value as A$419.99, with a Black Friday price of A$119.95.

Next has released its A Touch of Luxury Beauty Box for October 2026, priced at £30 for six products that Next values at £158 if bought separately. The box was reported on sale at Next UK on 6 October 2026. It covers body care, hair care and fragrance, with no makeup included.

What's in the Box

The October 2026 box contains six products from six brands:

• Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Body Oil, 100ml (full size)
• Olaplex No.3 Plus Complete Repair Treatment, 100ml
• Floral Street Ylang Ylang Espresso Eau de Parfum, 10ml (travel size)

Key Details

The selection leans towards body care and bathing. The Aromatherapy Associates body oil and the Neal's Yard Remedies hand cream are both full-size products. The ESPA shower gel and the Floral Street fragrance come in smaller formats. Hair care is covered by two products: the Olaplex No.3 Plus treatment and a mini Tangle Teezer detangling brush.

How It Compares with Previous Releases

This is the fifth A Touch of Luxury box from Next. Earlier editions launched in July 2023, September 2024, September 2025 and April 2026. The October 2026 edition follows the April box by about six months. Like earlier editions, it combines full-size products with travel sizes from premium brands.

e.l.f. Cosmetics has launched travel-size mini versions of its Never Thirsty Moisturizing Shampoo and Never Thirsty Moisturizing Conditioner, priced at $3 each for 1.7 fl oz / 50 mL. The minis are on sale now online and, according to the brand's Instagram, arrive in Target stores' travel section from 25 October 2026.

What's New

The news is the format. The Never Thirsty shampoo and conditioner were already sold in a 12 fl oz / 358 mL full size at $9 each. The new 1.7 fl oz minis bring the same formulas to a travel-friendly size. e.l.f. positions them for taking a hair routine on the go. The Target in-store launch places them in the retailer's travel section.

Products and Price

• Never Thirsty Moisturizing Shampoo (mini), $3 (US). The brand says it gently cleanses with a luxe lather, removing oil and product buildup and leaving strands soft and smooth.
• Never Thirsty Moisturizing Conditioner (mini), $3 (US). According to e.l.f., it melts into hair and instantly detangles without weighing hair down. It also contains a vegan protein blend.

Both carry what e.l.f. describes as a bright and uplifting fruity scent.

What the Brand Says

According to e.l.f., the two key ingredients work together:

• Provitamin B5 helps deliver moisture to the inner layers of the hair.
• Argan Oil helps seal in hydration from the outside.

The brand claims the shampoo and conditioner, used together as a regimen, leave hair 91% smoother and less tangled compared with a control. e.l.f. also says the pair helps strengthen hair, reduce breakage and repair damage.

e.l.f. says the line is suitable for all hair types and textures, including color-treated hair, and can be used daily. The brand lists the formulas as free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates and mineral oils. It also describes them as vegan, cruelty-free and color-safe, and says the line is Fair Trade Certified.

How to Use

e.l.f. recommends this routine:

1. Massage the shampoo through wet hair.
2. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Follow with the Never Thirsty conditioner.

The brand's results claim applies to the two products used together.

The new Dyson Plum/Copper Special Edition brings an autumnal colourway to the brand's hair-care range: a deep plum body with copper and brass accents, paired with a black-and-copper storage case. Italian beauty fans are already calling it an "extremely autumnal mood". Dyson's US site labels the shades "NEW Special edition". Here's what's in the range and what each tool costs.

In the US, the Airwrap i.d. comes in both Straight+Wavy and Curly+Coily versions at the same price.

Why the Supersonic Nural Stands Out

The Dyson Supersonic Nural is the most affordable tool in the US line-up ($449.99), and it has the most built-in technology. It is designed to protect both your hair and your scalp:

• Scalp protect mode: a time-of-flight sensor measures how far the dryer is from your head and lowers the heat as you get closer. Dyson claims a 3x stronger scalp barrier and up to 96% more shine.
• Attachment learning: each magnetic attachment is recognised and remembers your last-used settings.
• Pause detect: when you put the dryer down, it cuts the heat and reduces airflow.
• Five attachments, including the Wave+Curl diffuser, Styling concentrator and Flyaway attachment.
• Three speeds, four heat levels and a cold shot to set your style.

Many reviewers mention faster drying. One reviewer says their blow-dry went from 45 minutes to 20.

Styling Tips for Your New Tool

• Reaching the back of your head: turn the attachment 45° and dry slowly from root to ends.
• Monthly filter care: soak the magnetic filter cage in warm, soapy water for 30 minutes, then rinse, dry and wipe the filter clean. This keeps airflow strong.
• Curls and coils: use the diffuser's dome mode to define waves. Use diffuse mode for volume at the root.
• Using Attachment learning: switch off Scalp protect mode first, using the button on the clear end cap.

Is the Plum/Copper Edition Worth It?

These Special Edition tools work the same as the standard versions. You're paying for the colour and the matching case. If you've been waiting to buy, the plum and copper finish makes an easy choice for a seasonal treat or a gift.

Giovanni's Professional Collection is a new line of eight hair care and styling products built around Rice Milk, Silk Extract and Silk Protein. Prices run from $11.99 to $21.99 (US). The collection went on sale at giovannicosmetics.com in late September 2026, with the Texturizing & Finishing Hair Spray still listed as coming soon. Giovanni says the line was "created with stylists in mind" and is rooted in founder Giovanni J. Guidotti's family salon heritage. It carries the brand's tagline, "The Hair Care Brand of the Entertainment Industry."

When Did the Giovanni Professional Collection Launch?

Giovanni hasn't announced an official release date. The collection went on sale at giovannicosmetics.com in late September 2026 in the US, following an early-access launch mentioned on the brand's Silk-Gloss System page. The site now carries a "Now Available: The Giovanni Professional Collection" banner.

Price

In the US, individual products cost $11.99 to $13.99, and the 24 oz shampoo and conditioner cost $21.99 each. The Hair Spray's price has not yet been announced, and no UK or European prices have been confirmed.

Each system pairs the 13.5 oz Shampoo and Conditioner with two styling products. Each one costs exactly what its four products cost separately, so the systems are a convenient bundle, not a discount.

• Silk-Gloss System ($52.96): Leave-In Elixir + Smooth & Silky Serum. Giovanni says it is for glossy "glass hair".
• Sleek Hold System ($53.96): Strong Hold Gel + Pomade. Giovanni says it is for slick-backs, sleek ponytails, buns and defined edges.

Leave-In Hair Conditioning & Styling Elixir

$11.99. According to Giovanni, it detangles and tames frizz and static. The brand says it also adds heat protection and humidity resistance and improves the look of split ends.

Smooth & Silky Hair Serum

$12.99. Giovanni says it gives a sleek, glossy finish with 450°F thermal protection and humidity protection. The brand describes it as vegan and cruelty-free.

Strong Hold Hair Styling Gel

What Makes the Giovanni Professional Collection Different?

• Every product shares one signature fragrance. Giovanni describes it as crisp green pear, cantaloupe and fresh botanical notes, layered with lily and pineapple, then coconut, jasmine and tonka bean.
• Each of the three 4-step systems costs exactly what its four products cost separately.
• The seven published US ingredient lists share the same base: rice starch, corn silk extract, niacinamide, biotin, two peptides, coconut, argan and jojoba oils, and hydrolyzed keratin.

Formula Details

Each product title highlights Silk Extract, Keratin and Rice Milk. On Giovanni's US ingredient lists, these appear as:

Giovanni directs you to massage the shampoo into wet hair from roots to ends and rinse. Then work the conditioner through, leave it on for 3 minutes and rinse. The Leave-In Elixir is combed through damp hair, while the serum, gel, cream and pomade go on damp or dry hair before styling.

Crown Affair's The Vault is a limited-edition Holiday 2026 hair care set of five full-size formulas and two holiday-shade tools in a silver case. It costs $272 (US) at crownaffair.com and Sephora, against $347 for the seven items bought separately. It went on sale on 1 October 2026 for Sephora Rouge members and opened to everyone on 2 October 2026.

Crown Affair calls the contents its "Crown Jewels". The brand describes the set as a tribute to the formulas and tools that have become Crown Affair signatures. Sephora currently lists it as the Best of Crown Affair Healthy Hair Vault Gift Set, labelled New, Limited Edition and Online Only.

Release Date

The Vault had a staggered release. Sephora Rouge members got early access on sephora.com on 1 October 2026. The set opened to everyone at Sephora and crownaffair.com on 2 October 2026. Sephora Canada followed the same dates. According to Crown Affair, the set was made in limited quantities for the season and will not be restocked: "Once it's gone, it's gone."

Case and Launch Details

Crown Affair says the case can be reused after the season to hold jewellery, beauty products or keepsakes. According to the brand, it launched the set by hand-delivering it to a few doors across New York and Los Angeles. A white-gloved courier carried the silver case and a signed "Register of Release". In the brand's words, "something this precious requires special handling."

How to Use

Crown Affair says the items don't need to be used together. Its advice is to reach for each one "whenever the moment calls for it" through the season.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Frosted Fig Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo is a limited-edition holiday dry shampoo scented with fig, lily and blonde woods. It went on sale on livingproof.com on 1 October 2026 at $33 (5.5 oz) in the US. In the UK it costs £27 as a Lookfantastic exclusive. Living Proof teased the launch with the line "Winter has never smelled this good."

Availability update (7 October 2026): in stock at Ulta and Lookfantastic. Because it's limited edition, stock can change quickly.

Release Date

According to Living Proof's press release, Frosted Fig launched on livingproof.com on 1 October 2026. Anthropologie listed it as shipping around 4 October 2026. By 7 October 2026, Ulta and Lookfantastic both listed it as in stock. It arrived the same week as the Crown Affair The Vault Holiday 2026 Hair Care Set, another holiday 2026 hair care release that opened to all shoppers on 2 October.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Frosted Fig Fragrance Notes

The formula is the brand's existing Advanced Clean dry shampoo. The new part for Holiday 2026 is the scent. Living Proof's official notes are:

• Top: lush, creamy fig and subtly sweet coconut
• Heart: delicate lily petals blended with clarifying green tea
• Base: comforting blonde woods, vanilla cream and a touch of smooth, warm amber

What Does Living Proof Frosted Fig Smell Like?

Built from the brand's notes, the scent opens on fig and coconut, moves to lily and green tea, and ends on woods, vanilla and amber. Living Proof describes it as "warm, cozy" and "soft, elegant, and effortlessly inviting." It also calls the scent "an inviting alternative to the expected holiday gourmand."

What Makes the Perfect Hair Day Frosted Fig Dry Shampoo Different?

Rice starch, corn starch and cyclodextrin appear near the top of the ingredient list. Lookfantastic's printed list shows a shorter set of fragrance components than the lists on Living Proof's and Ulta's pages. Living Proof advises checking the packaging for the current list. Ulta notes that the item cannot be shipped via air.

How to Use

Living Proof says to shake the can extremely well before each spray and hold it 6–10 inches from dry, dirty hair. Section the hair, apply in a sweeping motion and wait 30 seconds. Then massage or brush the roots to remove the powder, reapply as needed, shaking the can again, and style as desired.

When Did the K18 Repair, Protect, Smooth Holiday Set Launch?

K18 hasn't announced an official release date. The set was in stock at Cult Beauty in September 2026. On 7 October 2026, both Cult Beauty's UK and international listings showed it in stock, and it was also listed at Image Beauty in the US and at Parikart and Concept C in Canada. Formula and Packaging

The formulas are existing K18 products; what is new for the holiday season is the packaging, with Jen Stark's molecular artwork and a removable sleeve that makes the set ready to gift. K18 lists K18PEPTIDE™ as sh-Oligopeptide-78, and it appears in all three formulas. According to K18, resilicore™ is inspired by resilin, a natural protein that withstands extreme temperatures. The brand also says HeatBounce doesn't need heat to activate, and hot tools can be used straight after applying it. For the oil, K18 PRO claims 104% more shine and a 78% reduction in split ends.

How to Use

K18 says to shampoo, skip conditioner and towel-dry thoroughly. Then apply 3 to 9 pumps of the mask from the ends up to the roots and leave it on for four minutes without rinsing. Next, brush HeatBounce through sectioned hair, using a small amount so hair feels soft rather than coated, and reapply it on dry hair before hot tools. Finally, work 1 to 3 drops of oil into damp mid-lengths and ends, wait four minutes and style, then add another 1 to 3 drops to dry hair as a finisher.
