Burberry Beauty released the Burberry Beyond Wear Hydrating Matte Primer in September 2026, priced at $57 (US) / £45 (UK). The primer joins the Beyond Wear line alongside the Perfecting Matte Foundation and Setting & Refining Powder. According to Burberry, it gives a 24-hour blurred matte finish, 18-hour hydrating care and weather protection, using the brand's Trench Protect Technology™.

What's New

The primer is built around Trench Protect Technology™, which Burberry says is inspired by the gabardine fabric of its trench coat. According to the brand, film-forming agents create a breathable, lightweight shield that gives water, humidity, sweat and heat resistance to protect makeup.

Burberry cites the following test results:

• 24-hour blurred natural matte finish and 24-hour blurring effect (clinical test, 32 volunteers)
• 18-hour hydrating care and 24-hour comfort (consumer test, 112 volunteers)
• Water, humidity, sweat and heat resistance

The Formula

According to Burberry, the formula is composed of 87% skincare-based ingredients (the percentage of skin-beneficial ingredients) and melts into the skin. The brand lists these key ingredients:

• Rosa damascena – for antioxidant protection

NARS has launched its limited-edition Après Ski Holiday 2026 collection, priced from $28 to $62 in the US and available now at narscosmetics.com, Ulta Beauty, Sephora and Macy's. The alpine-themed lineup comes in icy blue packaging inspired by ski puffer jackets. The Après Ski Cheek & Eye Palette ($62)

The Après Ski Cheek & Eye Palette comes in two colourways, Snow Games and Aspen Highlands. Each has four high-impact eyeshadows plus cheek shades for a complete alpine-inspired look (0.19 oz / 5.5 g). According to NARS, the eyeshadows deliver rich colour in one stroke, and the iridescent blush and highlighter shades mimic a slope-side flush. Each palette comes in a cool blue, ski puffer-inspired compact with a mirror.

MBA Cosmetics launched its Head In The Clouds Holochrome Eyeshadow Collection on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 3pm ET on mbacosmetics.com. The collection is priced at $45 (US) for the pans only or $49 (US) with a magnetic palette. The eight-pan lineup from the Ohio-based brand has four mattes and four multichrome "Holochrome Sparklers." The Shades

Half of the collection is made up of matte base tones. According to MBA Cosmetics, they can be worn alone for a hazy look or layered for more dimension:

NYX Professional Makeup has released its Bling The Halls Holiday 2026 Collection, a limited-edition, gem-themed range for lips, cheeks, eyes, brows and body, with prices from €7.95 at dm.de in Germany. The packaging is red and green with hearts and gems, and the key visual carries the tagline "Bling is a baddie's best friend." Most pieces are on sale online at dm Germany. Westman Atelier released the limited-edition Petite Sun Tone Bronze + Glassy Flush Duo on 5 October 2026, priced at $42 (US). The mini set pairs travel-size Sun Tone Bronzing Drops with the brand's new Glassy Flush pH-Adaptive Blush Stick. It comes in three shade pairings across light, medium and deep tones.

BUXOM Cosmetics has released two limited-edition Holiday shades of its Power-Full Plumping Peptide Lip Tint, called Reddy to Dance and Last Call. Meet the Two Holiday Shades

Chinese makeup brand INSBAHA has announced its Halloween collection, Coven of the Unseen, officially named the J Series. The release date and price have not yet been announced. The campaign recasts the witch archetype as a modern, self-possessed city dweller rather than a cloaked figure in a castle tower, under the tagline "Alone, Yet Legion. The Night is Our Noon." The packaging uses gunmetal and molten-silver finishes with faceted, crystal-like caps. The colors include galaxy purples, obsidian reds and pastel pearl shimmer.

r.e.m. beauty, Ariana Grande's clean makeup label, launched The Prima Palette on 29 September 2026. It is a limited-edition six-pan eyeshadow palette priced at $44.00 (US) and part of the r.e.m. beauty En Pointe Holiday 2026 Collection. Before the official launch, the palette was available as an Ulta Beauty app early-access exclusive. Its ballet-inspired shades come in velvety matte and luminous duochrome finishes.
