MBA Cosmetics launched its Head In The Clouds Holochrome Eyeshadow Collection on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 3pm ET on mbacosmetics.com. The collection is priced at $45 (US) for the pans only or $49 (US) with a magnetic palette. The eight-pan lineup from the Ohio-based brand has four mattes and four multichrome "Holochrome Sparklers." It is available now, and single pans are also sold individually.

The Shades
Half of the collection is made up of matte base tones. According to MBA Cosmetics, they can be worn alone for a hazy look or layered for more dimension:
- Sunlit Petals: delicate beige
- Quixotic: soft brown
- Pillow Talk: rosy pink
- Lavender Haze: lavender
The other half is the four Holochrome Sparklers. MBA describes their shift range as follows:
- a blue-to-purple-to-green multichrome
- a peach-to-gold glow
- a champagne-to-pink-to-green shimmer
- a "girly pink-to-gold-to-green shift"
The brand's swatches show Ethereal Veil as the blue-purple-green multichrome. The other three sparklers are Guilded Skies, Daydreamer and Candy Clouds. "Guilded" is the brand's spelling.
The brand notes that multichromes shift to different colours under different lighting. Daylight, warm indoor bulbs and flash photography may each bring out a different tone.

MBA offers the collection in three formats:
- Full collection, pans only: all 8 pans, no compact
- Full collection + magnetic palette: the 8 pans housed in MBA's magnetic palette
- Single pans: individual shades
Single pans do not come with a compact. According to the brand, customers who buy any four single pans on its website receive a free magnetic palette.
