The Head & Shoulders Scalp Care Collection is a new US anti-dandruff line of seven shampoos, treatments and a conditioner in three scalp routines. P&G announced it on 15 October 2026. When Did the Head & Shoulders Scalp Care Collection Launch?

P&G announced the Head & Shoulders Scalp Care Collection on 15 October 2026. Its news release was titled "Head & Shoulders Launches All-New Scalp Care Collection to Prove Healthier Hair Starts at the Scalp." The products were already listed on headandshoulders.com and at Walmart US by 16 October 2026.

Prices

In the US, Walmart lists five products at $11.97 each:

• Scalp Purify Pre-Shampoo (7.6 fl oz)
• All three 13.5 fl oz shampoos
• Scalp Restore Conditioner (10.6 fl oz)

Prices for the Scalp Restore Leave-On Serum and the Scalp Soothe Cooling Spray are not confirmed. No UK or European prices have been published.

What Makes the Head & Shoulders Scalp Care Collection Different?

• Organised by scalp concern: the collection is split into three routines (oily, dry and flaky, itchy), each with its own bottle colour.
• Two leave-on treatments: the serum and spray are applied without rinsing. Both use a higher 3% HydraSC+ Complex, compared with 2% in the rinse-off products.
• A pre-shampoo step: Scalp Purify starts with a salicylic acid treatment that is applied before shampooing.

Formulas and Packaging

• Clarify Pre-Shampoo: Head & Shoulders says it loosens oil, build-up and flakes before shampooing. It is applied before the Scalp Purify Shampoo.
• Volumizing Shampoo: the brand says it removes up to 99% of oil, flakes and build-up "when using Scalp Purify Pre-Shampoo & Shampoo." It also claims 5x more volume versus unwashed hair. The shampoo is described as colour-safe.
• Nourishing Shampoo: the brand says it locks in scalp moisture for 72 hours and helps restore the scalp barrier. It is free of sulfated surfactants and colour-safe.
• Conditioner, Deep Hydration: this is step 2 of the Scalp Restore routine. According to the brand, it delivers a 72-hour moisture lock "with Scalp Restore Shampoo and Conditioner system."
• Leave-On Serum: this is a lightweight, non-greasy treatment applied to a wet scalp and not rinsed out. It is another leave-on scalp format, like the COLOR WOW Youth Juice Collagen Scalp Serum.
• Cooling Shampoo: Head & Shoulders says it gives an instant cooling feel and reduces dandruff-related itch, irritation and flakes.
• Cooling Spray: this is a leave-on spray. The brand directs using it up to four times daily between washes, massaging it in without rinsing.

Head & Shoulders describes the collection as clinically proven and calls itself America's #1 dermatologist-recommended dandruff shampoo brand. These are the brand's own claims.

Highbrow Hippie Triple-Action Revitalizing Enzyme Scrub is a sugar-based exfoliating scalp scrub and shampoo with papaya enzymes and chelating agents. It costs $78 (US) for a 200mL jar and is sold at highbrowhippie.com, where it went on sale by 12 October 2026. Highbrow Hippie describes it as "the scalp-to-strand reset," used in place of shampoo, and it joins the latest hair care launches.

When Did the Highbrow Hippie Triple-Action Revitalizing Enzyme Scrub Launch?

Highbrow Hippie hasn't announced an official release date. The scrub's store listing went live on highbrowhippie.com on 12 October 2026, the same day as the brand's Nutripeptide Strengthening Essence. The Treat & Restore Set, which pairs the two, was listed on 13 October 2026.

The Treat & Restore Set costs $146 and contains the scrub and the Nutripeptide Strengthening Essence. That equals the two products' individual prices ($78 + $68), so the set offers no saving.

Launched Alongside

• Nutripeptide Strengthening Essence ($68): A leave-in essence. Highbrow Hippie says it detangles, controls frizz, helps protect against heat and UV, and helps preserve colour.
• Treat & Restore Set ($146): The scrub plus the essence.

The brand recommends following the scrub with its existing Instant Silk Vitality Mask ($68), then the new essence. Its line-up also includes the Root Replenish Active Growth Serum ($88).

What Makes the Triple-Action Revitalizing Enzyme Scrub Different?

• It combines three steps in one product. The scrub pairs physical exfoliation (sugar) and enzymatic exfoliation (papaya) with chelation for hard-water minerals and metals.
• It replaces shampoo. It is a scalp scrub and cleanser in one, rather than a pre-shampoo step.
• The brand gives three treatment levels. Each level uses a different leave-on time, from a quick rinse to 10 minutes.

Here's what's new compared with a standard exfoliating scrub, in co-founder Kadi Lee's words: "Most scalp scrubs stop at exfoliation. We wanted this one to do more, combining physical and enzymatic exfoliation with targeted chelation to remove what everyday cleansers can leave behind."

Formula and Packaging

According to Highbrow Hippie, the key ingredients are:

• Dissolvable sugar crystals (sucrose): Physical exfoliation to clear buildup.
• Papaya fruit extract: Enzymes that break down dead skin cells and help balance oil.
• Sodium polyitaconate: A chelating ingredient. The brand says it lifts hard-water minerals and metals through ionic chelation.
• Prebiotic carob fruit extract: Supports the scalp microbiome, per the brand.
• Rhodiola root extract: An adaptogen the brand says helps defend against oxidative and environmental stress.
• Ceramides NP, AP and EOP and sodium hyaluronate: Included for hydration and barrier support.

The brand claims the scrub cleanses and conditions without stripping, helps clear pollution, and brightens colour. It comes in a 200mL / 6.7oz jar.

How to Use It

For a regular scalp reset, Highbrow Hippie says to massage the lather into the scalp and rinse. For brighter colour, work it through the lengths and leave it on for 2 minutes. For deeper chelation, add more product to the lengths and leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes.
