Byredo has a new after-dark scent. Havana Tonka, a new Extrait de Parfum in the Night Veils collection, launched on 1 October 2026. Byredo describes it as the place "where roasted tonka meets the warmth of rum and the depth of tobacco leaves", and calls the result warm, smoky and deeply sensual. The campaign is titled "Havana After Dark", which suits a scent built for candlelit evenings and late nights.

What's New: The Scent Story

Havana Tonka is built around roasted tonka bean, but it opens with light rather than darkness.

• Top notes: Bergamot essential oil gives a bright first impression. Rum and pink peppercorn essential oil warm it quickly, and a touch of crème brûlée adds a caramelised, gourmand sweetness that stays on the dark side.
• Heart notes: Tobacco leaves bring a dry, smoky depth. Violet and white suede soften it, while cashmere woods add a velvety warmth that leads into the base.
• Base notes: The roasted tonka bean absolute turns sweet and slightly resinous. Patchouli essential oil adds earthiness, benzoin resinoid adds balsamic richness, and skin musks keep the finish close to the body.
