ColourPop's So Juicy Plumping Glossy Lip Oil is a $10 tinted lip oil with a glass-like shine and a plumping boost. It launched on June 13, 2024 with eight shades at $10, and ColourPop's site now lists 11 in the core range, still $10 and rated 4.8 stars from 439 reviews.

ColourPop's page now also lists Everything's Good (pinky mauve), Shine On Babe (cool mauvy nude) and Glow Thru It (greige plum), which sold in a three-piece Positive Pout set.

Our take: the range runs from clear to deep berry, so there is a choice for most lip colors. The three newer shades lean mauve, a gap in the original eight.

What Is in the Formula?

ColourPop's page lists ceramides, peptides, ginger, and strawberry and raspberry oils, and describes a non-drying formula with sheer pigment. The launch announcement also named peppermint, for a plumping boost. It cites independent consumer testing with 32 participants: 97% agreed it gives a glass-like shine, 91% agreed lips look fuller and 100% agreed on smoother lines. Our take: that is a small brand-cited study, so read it as user satisfaction, not proof of plumping.

Confirmed: price, rating, ingredients, claims and the 11-shade core range come from ColourPop's product page. The eight launch shade descriptions come from search results for ColourPop's site.

Guerlain's Parure Gold Cushion Rejuvenating Radiance Foundation is a cushion foundation with fine 24-karat gold pigments and skincare ingredients, in four shades with medium coverage and a natural, luminous-matte finish. It was announced in June 2024 at $54 through Harrods, though that retailer is UK-based, so the currency needs checking.

What Is the Parure Gold Cushion?

According to Guerlain's announcement, the cushion is infused with 24-karat gold pigments and skincare ingredients, and its matte formula delivers subtle radiance and long-term benefits. It claims 24-hour wear and all-day hydration from a skincare-infused formula. Guerlain's site describes the formula as a "93% skincare base" in search results.

Which Shades Come With It?

Our take: all four shades are on the light side of the range, judging by the names, with two cool and two neutral. If you have medium to deep skin, this range is unlikely to match, though we haven't seen the swatches.

Is There a Refill?

Search results show a Parure Gold Cushion refill on Guerlain's site, which suggests the compact is designed to be reused. We couldn't verify the refill price.

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?
