New Makeup Releases: Release Dates, Shades & Prices

Dior has launched Dior Capture PDRN-Shot, a 20 mL intensive radiance revitalizer priced at $109 (US) and £72 (UK). It joins the maison's "Derma-Shots" range. According to Dior, the formula is inspired by dermo-aesthetic in-clinic procedures, and one tube is designed as a one-month "shot" for more radiant, smoother-looking skin. Charlize Theron appears in the campaign imagery.

It launched alongside the Dior Capture Hyalushot Advanced, a wrinkle corrector built on three forms of hyaluronic acid.

What Makes PDRN-Shot Different

The headline ingredient is PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide), an ingredient associated with regenerative aesthetic treatments. Instead of the more familiar salmon-derived version, Dior uses a plant-derived PDRN sourced from a fragment of rice DNA. The brand says it is 4.6x more powerful than salmon PDRN (in vitro test on ingredient). According to Dior, a pro-penetrating exo-liposome (patent pending FR3144515) diffuses it continuously into the skin for up to 8 hours.

Dior says this is the first time it has paired PDRN with vitamin Cg (ascorbyl glucoside) and niacinamide. According to the brand, vitamin Cg reduces the appearance of dark spots, and niacinamide refines the appearance of pores and improves texture. A Madonna lily (Lilium candidum) bulb extract completes the formula. The ingredient list also includes hydrolyzed DNA and jasmine flower extract. Dior says pearlescent particles and a tensing oil give an instant glow and tightening effect on application.

The Clinical Results

According to Dior, a clinical evaluation by a dermatologist on 30 subjects found:

• +25% radiance instantly, holding for 8 hours
• –25% visibility of dark spots in 1 month
• +65% smoothness and +62% radiance in 1 shot (1 shot = 1 month of use)
• 2x smoother, firmer and more radiant skin when used with Dior Capture Le Sérum, compared with the serum alone. Radiance and smoothness were measured after 2 weeks and firmness after 1 month.

How to Use Dior Capture PDRN-Shot

Dior recommends applying PDRN-Shot morning and evening to the entire face. It goes on after Dior Capture Le Sérum and before Dior Capture Creme, to complement both. One 20 mL tube is designed as a one-month intensive ritual.

Dr.Jart+ has launched the Dr.Jart+ Cryo-V Jawline Lifting Mask, a single-use wraparound face mask available since September 2026 for $10.50 on Amazon US. According to Dr.Jart+, the mask combines a cooling hydrogel patch with a stretchy self-adhesive bandage that wraps around the face. The brand says it visibly lifts and cools the jawline in 20 minutes, describing the results as "jaw-dropping" and the format as inspired by derma procedures.

What Makes the Cryo-V Mask Different

Dr.Jart+ describes the product as a first-of-its-kind cooling wraparound mask built on a dual-action lifting system:

• A stretchy, self-adhesive fabric bandage that, according to the brand, lifts by creating tension as it wraps around the face
• A cooling hydrogel patch infused with Collagen Peptide that sits directly on the chin. The brand says it immediately cools the skin and helps support elasticity with continued use

According to Dr.Jart+, clinical testing on 31 women found that the mask cooled skin by 4.89°C within 30 seconds of application. The brand also reports that, after a single use, testers saw a visibly lifted jawline and a reduction in the appearance of double chin, marionette lines and smile lines. The brand's before-and-after imagery shows results at the 20-minute and 2-hour marks.

The product is sold under several names. Olive Young Global lists it as the Cryo-V Lifting Mask. European retailers use Cryo V-Sculpt Jawline Lifting Mask, and Lyko also lists it as the Sculpt Jawline Lifting Mask.

How to Use It

1. Start with clean, dry skin. The brand advises skipping heavy or oily moisturizers beforehand, as they may cause the mask to slip.
2. Open the package and peel off the protective film.
3. Place the hydrogel patch directly on your chin.
4. Stretch the fabric band upward and wrap it around your face, securing it at the top of your head by overlapping the ends.
5. Wear for 20 minutes, or up to 4 hours for a more intensive treatment.

For extra cooling, Dr.Jart+ suggests refrigerating the mask for 10 minutes before use.

AMUSE SEOUL has released two new shades of its Lip Smudger overlining lip pencil: Cherry Drizzle, a cherry red, and 09 Choco Drizzle, a muted chocolate brown. Both are available now on Amazon US for $15.99 each, and 09 Choco Drizzle is also sold at Ounass UAE for AED 67.

Meet the New Drizzle Duo

The Lip Smudger is AMUSE's overlining pencil. It is a slim 4.5 mm pencil designed to trace just outside the natural lip line for a fuller-looking lip. According to AMUSE, the formula is creamy and blendable, applies softly and adheres tightly to the lips for long-lasting wear. On its Amazon listing, the brand also describes the pencil as hypoallergenic-tested and cruelty-free.

Belgian home-fragrance house Baobab Collection has released its 2026 advent calendar, the Advent Calendar Voyage Extraordinaire. It has been available since September 2026, priced at $595 in the US. According to the brand, the format is inspired by grand magical books and is meant as a collectible object. Its winter-sports-inspired décor celebrates the Holiday Season "beside the fire, just below snow-capped peaks." Its twenty-four doors hold miniature-format candles, home sprays and body care.

Hempz has released its Holiday 2026 body care collection in the US, priced from $6.99 to $20.00 depending on product, size and retailer. The products were added to hempz.com in July 2026 and stocked at Ulta Beauty from September 2026. This post covers two limited-edition body lotions (Winter Mint & Frosted Cranberry and Vanilla Bean & Coconut Snowball) and three mini gift kits. All of them are available now. According to Hempz, the formulas are built on 100% pure natural hemp seed oil, rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

The Two Limited-Edition Body Lotions

The collection's headline products are two Limited Edition body moisturizers, sold in 12 oz and 2.25 oz travel sizes:

• Winter Mint & Frosted Cranberry: notes of sweet mint, frosted cranberry and amber vanilla. According to Hempz's Ulta listing, peppermint oil helps soothe dry skin with a slight cooling effect, and vanilla extract helps protect skin from free radicals.
• Vanilla Bean & Coconut Snowball: notes of sweet vanilla, soft shredded coconut and a cozy cashmere accord. The brand says sugarcane extract draws moisture from the air to help keep skin hydrated, alongside vanilla extract and shea butter.

Hempz describes both formulas as ultra-light, fast-absorbing and non-greasy. Both contain shea butter and hemp seed oil, which the brand says help hydrate, nourish and condition dry skin.

Three Giftable Mini Kits

Three mini sets round out the release:

• Merry & Bright Trio: a boxed set with a Vanilla Bean & Coconut Snowball lip balm (0.25 oz) and mini lotion (2.25 oz), plus a Winter Mint & Frosted Cranberry mini lotion (2.25 oz). Hempz says the lotions are dermatologist tested.

MOIRA Cosmetics has released the MOIRA Dreamlight Glow & Blur Blush Kit at Ulta Beauty for $30. The set contains two Dreamlight Highlighters, two shades of Love Blur Blush and a free Angled Blush Brush. Ulta's product description also refers to it as the Dreamlight Glow & Blur Blush Bundle.

MOIRA has since launched the MOIRA Blur Lip Contour Liner, a $7 soft-focus matte lip liner in 12 shades, on moirabeauty.com on 8 October 2026.

What's Inside the Kit

The kit contains four products:

• Dreamlight Highlighter in 002 Honeysuckle — a champagne/golden-pearl glow

Key Details: The Formulas

The Dreamlight Highlighters are pressed powders made with what MOIRA calls "diamond dust". According to MOIRA, they deliver a subtle sparkle for face and body, including shoulders, arms, legs and collarbones. Customer reviews on MOIRA's site mention a silky glide and strong pigment payoff.

The Love Blur Blush is a bouncy cream-to-powder formula.

Glaminatrix Cosmetics released Into the Mist, a 12-pan eyeshadow palette and the first in its new compact collection, on 26 September 2026 for A$65. The packaging is marked "Volume I". The Dior La Malle des Rêves Exceptional Advent Calendar 2026 is a 24-gift trunk of La Collection Privée fragrances, home and couture pieces. It is limited to 170 numbered pieces worldwide and priced at £6,500 in the UK. Dior presents it against the backdrop of its address at 30 Avenue Montaigne and has not yet announced a release date.

Design: A Dollhouse-Style Coiffeuse Inspired by Gingerbread

The trunk is finished in white lacquer. When opened, it shows what Dior calls an "exquisite scene inspired by gingerbread," staged like a miniature dollhouse.

At its centre is a replica of the Junon gown. Dior describes the gown as the masterpiece of Christian Dior's Autumn-Winter 1949 "Mid-Century" haute couture line. It sits beside the Dior medallion chair and clusters of miniature gift boxes.

According to Dior, the mirrored trunk becomes a true coiffeuse (dressing table). Its 24 drawers have gold CD-candy-shaped handles.

Manucurist has released two 2026 advent calendars, Advent Calendar Time to Shine (£139 / $139 / €139) and Advent Calendar Time to Flash (£179 / $179 / €179). Both went on sale on Manucurist's own UK, US and EU stores between 24 and 25 September 2026 in limited quantities. Each calendar contains 24 full-size products. Time to Shine is built around classic Green polish and Active care polishes. Time to Flash covers the Green Flash LED gel range and was previously teased as the premium/gel calendar.

Advent Calendar Time to Shine: The Classic Edit

Time to Shine costs £139 in the UK, $139 in the US and €139 in France. It centres on Manucurist's plant-based Green polish range and its Active care polishes. It includes one exclusive product, the new Active Shine Icy, which Manucurist describes as a glittery milky highlighting care polish.

According to Manucurist's product pages, the calendar holds:

• 8 Green colours
• 1 case of biodegradable Gold Glitters
• 3 Active care polishes
• 4 nail and hand care essentials
• 4 manicure accessories
• Green range essentials such as the base and top coat

Amour (soft bordeaux), Emerald (deep forest green) and Bliss (pearly opaque white) are listed as new shades. The UK and US pages also offer bundles that add the brand's Dip Remover or a pouch to the calendar.

Advent Calendar Time to Flash: For Semi-Permanent Gel

Time to Flash costs £179 in the UK, $179 in the US and €179 in France. According to Manucurist, it is the brand's first advent calendar dedicated to its Green Flash semi-permanent gel routine.

Manucurist's product pages list the following groups, plus manicure accessories:

Time to Flash does not include a UV/LED lamp or Green Flash remover. Manucurist offers two bundle options:

According to the brand, Green Flash cures instantly under an LED lamp and lasts up to 21 days with the Xtrem Flash top coat. Manucurist also says it removes without acetone or filing.
