KAYALI Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108 Eau de Parfum is a new gourmand vanilla perfume with lemon sugar, white caramel, coconut and vanilla frosting notes. It costs from $29 / £22 for a 10ml Travel Spray up to $150 / £110 for 100ml. It went on sale on KAYALI's own sites on 29 October 2026, after pre-orders from 21 October, and Sephora US lists it as new and limited edition. Glam-Junkies gives 30 October 2026 for the worldwide launch.

The new scent joins KAYALI's earlier Yum launch, the KAYALI Yummy Kiss Sets (Marshmallow & Pistachio Gelato), which pair two of the collection's existing fragrances.

Updated 29 October 2026: Now on sale at KAYALI's US, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia and Middle East stores, and listed at Sephora US. The rainbow-sprinkle Limited Edition bottle has already sold out at us.kayali.com but is still available at uk.kayali.com. A 1.5ml sample size is also listed ( / £3 / €4).

Release Date

KAYALI opened pre-orders for Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108 on its own sites (US, UK and international) on 21 October 2026, and orders began shipping on 29 October 2026, when it moved from pre-order to on sale. German beauty-news site Glam-Junkies reports the worldwide launch as 30 October 2026. KAYALI's own pages give only the 29 October shipping date.

What Does KAYALI Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108 Smell Like?

The scent opens on lemon sugar and rainbow sprinkles with pink pepper. The heart moves to white caramel, toasted coconut flakes, sweet milk and buttercream. The base is vanilla frosting with white amber and KAYALI's signature accord. KAYALI calls it "comforting, nostalgic, and joyful" and "a celebration of life's sweetest moments."

KAYALI founder Mona Kattan explains the idea: "Cupcakes have always felt like little celebrations of life, from the everyday wins to the big moments we remember forever. Vanilla was my first scent memory, and it's always been so comforting and familiar to me, so I wanted to create a fragrance that speaks to those moments and captures that same feeling of nostalgia and joy."

The brand's earlier vanilla gourmand is KAYALI Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar | 42, which also appears in the KAYALI Vanilla Charm Set. Another vanilla gourmand launched this autumn is Jo Malone London Vanilla Scotch Cologne.

Both bottles hold the same fragrance at the same 50ml price. Only the bottle design is different. Sephora US lists the limited bottle as "YUM VANILLA CUPCAKE Birthday Edition | 108 Eau de Parfum."

What Makes the KAYALI Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108 Different?

• It is a cupcake-themed gourmand built around rainbow sprinkles, white caramel and vanilla frosting accords.
• The number 108 is the count of formula iterations, according to KAYALI and Glam-Junkies.
• A rainbow-sprinkle Limited Edition 50ml bottle is sold alongside the matte cream standard bottle.

Formula and Packaging

• Eau de Parfum: KAYALI lists it as vegan, cruelty-free and layerable, and suggests pairing it with its Silk Soufflé Body Cream. The fragrance is housed in a matte cream version of KAYALI's faceted bottle with a white gem-like cap. Glam-Junkies notes that the bottle design is inspired by traditional Middle Eastern oud bottles.

The two gift sets from KAYALI cost $42 in the US, £42 in the UK and €50 on KAYALI's international store. They appeared on kayali.com on 1 October 2026 and on the US and UK stores on 4 October 2026.

KAYALI hasn't announced an official release date. Both sets first appeared on KAYALI's international store and reached the US and UK stores three days later. Space NK UK lists both sets as "New".

Both sets cost the same in each market:

• UK: £42. Bought separately, the items cost £51 (£28 + £23), which matches Cult Beauty's "Worth £51" label.
• International: €50. Bought separately, the items cost €58 (€32 + €26).

Don't confuse these sets with two other Yum sets on KAYALI's site:

• The Yum Mini Duo costs $28 (US) and holds two 5ml Eau de Parfum Intense minis, Pistachio Gelato and Boujee Marshmallow, with no lip balm.

What Makes the KAYALI Yummy Kiss Sets Different?

• Each set matches a perfume with a lip balm in the same scent, while KAYALI's Yum Mini Duo contains perfume only.
• Both sets cost the same in each market ($42 / £42 / €50). In the UK and US, that is less than buying the two items separately.
• The boxes are colour-coded: pink for Marshmallow and mint green for Pistachio Gelato. They join KAYALI's wider range of fragrance gift sets this season.

Formula and Packaging

• Eau de Parfum: each perfume comes as a 10ml miniature in KAYALI's small faceted bottle with a white gem-shaped cap.
• Cashmere Kiss Lip Balm: a soft tube with a silicone applicator. According to KAYALI, both balms give "up to 8 hours of hydration." The Marshmallow balm is tinted and lightly scented with pink marshmallow, strawberry and whipped cream. The Pistachio Gelato balm is lightly scented with pistachio gelato, hazelnut, whipped cream and cotton candy.

Kayali hasn't announced an official release date for the set. It was first listed on kayali.com, the brand's international store, on 1 October 2026. It then appeared on us.kayali.com on 4 October 2026. By 8 October 2026 it was also listed at Space NK UK and Cult Beauty. Kayali describes it as a limited edition.

Kayali lists three items in the set:

This set is not to be confused with Kayali's Vanilla Musk Mini Duo Set. That set costs $28 at Sephora US and contains two 10 ml minis with no charm. The Charm Set is the one with the full 50 ml bottle and the holder.

Kayali's earlier Kayali Vacay in a Bottle Miniature Set was built around minis only.

According to Kayali, the scent opens on vanilla orchid and jasmine, moves into layered vanilla and tonka, and settles on brown sugar, amber, musk and patchouli.

Kayali's Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar | 42 is a gourmand eau de parfum, first released in 2024. The brand calls it "a lighter, youthful take" on its cult Vanilla | 28. It's built around candied pear, bubble gum and vanilla, finished with tonka, sandalwood and patchouli. It has gone up in price since launch.

What Does Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar 42 Smell Like?

These are the notes Kayali published at launch:

• Top: candied pear, violet leaves, rum, marshmallow, vanilla cream
• Heart: jasmine, labdanum, white caramel, bubble gum, jellybean
• Base: tonka, vetiver, sandalwood, cashmere woods, patchouli, rock sugar

Kayali's own description focuses on "glazed candied pear and bubble gum" over a "vanillic explosion at the heart", made warmer by tonka bean, sandalwood and patchouli. It says the scent was inspired by founder Mona Kattan's love of candy.

How Is It Different From Vanilla | 28?

Kayali positions 42 as the lighter, more playful version of Vanilla | 28. Our take: from the note lists, 42 leans fruity and candy-like, with its pear, bubble gum and jellybean. Vanilla | 28 is known as the richer, ambery vanilla. If 28 feels too heavy for daytime, 42 is the one to sample. We haven't compared them side by side on skin.

How Much Has the Price Changed?

Confirmed: on September 25, 2026, Kayali's US site listed the 100 ml at $150 (up from $125 at launch) and the 50 ml at $105 (up from $89). The 10 ml miniature is unchanged at $32. A 10 ml travel spray ($29) and a 1.5 ml sample ($4) are also available.

Where to buy: at launch the fragrance sold on hudabeauty.com. Kayali now sells it on its own regional sites, including the US one above.

Is It Worth Sampling First?

Our take: yes. At $4, the 1.5 ml sample is the cheapest way to find out whether the bubble-gum note works for you before paying $105 or more for a full bottle.

What We Couldn't Confirm

Kayali's product page doesn't list the full notes today, so the pyramid above is the one published at launch. We also didn't check prices outside the US.

Kayali's The Wedding Collection is a limited-edition pair of fragrances, The Wedding Velvet Santal | 35 and The Wedding Silk Santal | 36, announced in June 2023 for release on June 29 at hudabeauty.com. Our original post gave the full-size price as about $100, and Kayali's site now lists Velvet Santal at $105 for 50 mL.

Kayali's page describes Velvet Santal as a blend of "gentle Jasmine and White Musk, accompanied by the velvety warmth of Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Benzoin," and calls it "a testimony to unconditional love."

Our take: Velvet Santal is the woody, musky one, and Silk Santal is the sweet, fruity-gourmand one. If you like sandalwood, start with Velvet; if you like sparkling, sugary scents, start with Silk. We haven't worn either.

What Is the Story Behind the Collection?

According to Fragrantica, Kayali founder Mona Kattan and her husband created the collection to commemorate their wedding day, with Velvet Santal inspired by his black suit and Silk Santal by her satin white dress.

Is It Still Available?

Kayali's page for Velvet Santal shows the 50 mL size out of stock, listed as a pre-order. Because the collection was announced as limited edition, availability may vary. We did not confirm the current stock of Silk Santal.

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?

Confirmed: Velvet Santal's notes, sizes, prices and stock status come from Kayali's product page. The Silk Santal notes come from our June 2023 announcement.

Not confirmed: Silk Santal's current price and stock. A search result listed a price of $150 for a bottle, but the size wasn't clear, so we haven't used it.

Kayali's Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 is a gourmand Eau de Parfum Intense built around pistachio gelato, hazelnut, sweet rum, marshmallow, whipped cream and cotton candy. Our March 2023 post listed only those notes without naming the fragrance, and they match this scent.

What Does It Smell Like?

Kayali's full note pyramid is:

• Top: pistachio gelato, hazelnut, Italian bergamot, sweet rum, cardamom
• Middle: white peach, muguet, jasmine, raspberry, white peony, green pear, geranium
• Base: whipped cream, marshmallow, cotton candy, Turkish delight, cocoa, cedarwood, sandalwood, tonka

Kayali describes "a delicious explosion of irresistible and edible notes" with an "unforgettably intense, gourmand scent trail."

Our take: the base of whipped cream, marshmallow and cotton candy is what makes it read as a dessert scent. The floral middle (peach, jasmine, peony) may soften the sweetness for some wearers, though we haven't worn it.

The 1.5 mL size is a cheap way to test a fragrance this sweet before buying a full bottle.

What Does the "33" Mean?

Search results for Kayali's site describe the number as a nod to the 33 rounds of formulation the brand says it took to reach the balance of warmth and sweetness. We couldn't confirm that on the page we read.
