DedCool and Emi Jay launched the DedCool x Emi Jay Mochi Milk Gift Set in Yellow Mochi Sky on emijay.com on 29 September 2026, priced at $59 (US). The limited-edition set pairs DedCool's Mochi Milk scent, which the brand calls a bestseller, with Emi Jay's Big Effing Clip, which won a Cosmopolitan Holy Grail Beauty Award. It contains a hair and body mist, a set-exclusive clip and an angel-wing air freshener.

What's Inside: The Products

The set includes three products. Two of them are exclusive to the set:

• Aura Hair + Body Mist in Mochi Milk (1.8 fl oz / 53 ml): the brand describes it as a fine, sweet and creamy mist. According to Emi Jay, it contains glycerin for frizz control, smoothing and soft shine, plus aloe leaf juice to hydrate and protect.
• Big Effing Clip in Yellow Mochi Sky: Emi Jay calls this its most-loved claw clip. This version has a matte finish with star rhinestones. It measures 4" x 1.5", is made from custom cellulose acetate and won a Cosmopolitan Holy Grail Beauty Award. According to Emi Jay, it holds a full head of hair from morning to night without pulling.
• Mochi Milk air freshener: an angel-wing-shaped freshener for a car or wardrobe.

The Mochi Milk Scent

The brand describes Mochi Milk as a soft, comforting gourmand that smells like dessert without being too sugary. The notes are:

• Top: marshmallow, peach nectar, enveloping incense
• Middle: sweet rice milk, vanilla bean, jasmine petals
• Base: Australian sandalwood, sensual amber, white musk

Price & Value

The gift set costs $59. Emi Jay states a $74 value if the items were bought separately and says the set saves 20%. Only the mist is sold on its own, at $24. The Yellow Mochi Sky clip and the air freshener are available only in this set. For comparison, the same clip design in Pink Mochi Sky sells for $38. Emi Jay marks the set as final sale.

How to Use It

• Second-day hair: mist lightly over the lengths. According to Emi Jay, the glycerin tames flyaways and adds shine.
• Layering the scent: spritz the hair first, then the pulse points.
• Styling: twist the hair into a low bun and secure it with the Big Effing Clip. Emi Jay says the clip holds a full head of hair with no pulling.

DedCool launched Mocha Magic Eau de Parfum, a coffee gourmand fragrance, in September 2026, priced at $90 (US) for 50ml and $30 (US) for a 15ml travel spray. It is available on dedcool.com and at Sephora US, Sephora Canada and Space NK UK. According to DedCool, the 1.7 oz full size is not currently available for international shipping from its site.

A Coffee Gourmand With a Twist

Mocha Magic opens on espresso, mocha and cream. It moves into a heart of biscotti, toffee and bourbon and settles into a base of vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood. The fragrance is listed as heavy strength. Fragrantica classifies it as an Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women and men. Its note list puts bourbon only in the description, not among the middle notes.

According to DedCool, the scent uses the brand's proprietary Balance Note™ technology, which is designed to reflect coffee's ability to both energize and ground. The brand describes it as warm and comforting, "like a quiet morning awakened by the scent of freshly ground coffee," and as decadent and uplifting, "like an espresso martini to energize a sparkling night out." DedCool markets its fragrances as genderless and vegan.

How to Wear It

• Application: the fragrance is rated heavy strength, so pulse points such as the wrist and the base of the neck are the standard placement.
• Travel size: the 15ml travel spray offers a smaller format at $30 (US).
• Layering: DedCool promotes layering across its range. Mocha Magic can be worn over an unscented body lotion or layered with DedCool's Milk scents.
