What makes it duochrome? A duochrome shadow shows two (or more) colors depending on the angle and the light, rather than one flat color. e.l.f. says the reflective pigments in this formula create metallic looks that "shift and transform in different lighting." That is the multi-chrome effect the brand pointed to at launch as mirroring the trend many shoppers had seen on their social feeds.

Which Shades Can You Buy?

e.l.f.'s product page lists four shades, with these descriptions:

• Mer-mazing: metallic blue / green
• Cyberpink: metallic pink / gold

Our take: all four are shifting metallics, so this is a statement-lid product, not an everyday neutral. Because it is a liquid, it suits people who want a one-step look without building color with powders.

e.l.f. describes it as a high-pigment, gel-based formula made for long-lasting, comfortable wear, with a bold, metallic finish. The brand lists it as 100% vegan, cruelty-free and Fair Trade.

Confirmed: e.l.f. lists the product at $9 with four shades on its Duochrome Liquid Eyeshadow page. It shows a 4.8 star rating, but from only 6 reviews.

Not confirmed: the page we read doesn't give a size, and we don't know which shades were available at the October 2023 launch. Our original post didn't list shade names.

In September 2023, e.l.f. added new shades to three of its glow products: the Halo Glow Liquid Filter (now 15 shades), the Suntouchable Whoa Glow SPF 30, and the Halo Glow Blush Wand (now six). Each now costs $1 more than the 2023 launch prices of $14, $14 and $9.

Halo Glow Liquid Filter: Shade Guide and How Many Shades There Are Now

In 2023 the filter grew to 12 shades with four additions: 0 Fair Neutral Warm, 0.5 Fair Cool, 3.5 Medium Neutral Olive and 8.5 Rich Neutral Warm. e.l.f.'s page now lists 15 shades. e.l.f. calls it a multi-purpose liquid glow booster with a soft-focus "social filter" effect, for oily, dry and combination skin, worn alone, under or over makeup, or mixed with foundation. The product page shows 4.6 stars from 9,590 reviews.

Suntouchable Whoa Glow SPF 30: Which Shades Exist?

The 2023 announcement added Sunburst and Sunbeam. The current page lists three sheer, shimmery shades:

• Sunbeam: sheer peach shimmer
• Sunlight: sheer champagne shimmer (labeled new by e.l.f.)
• Sunburst: sheer bronze shimmer (also labeled new)

It is a broad-spectrum SPF 30 primer and sunscreen in a lightweight, non-greasy, fragrance-free lotion, with aloe, hyaluronic acid and squalane, in a 1.69 oz / 50 mL bottle. The product page shows 4.4 stars from 36 reviews. Halo Glow Blush Wands: Which Shades Are There?

The 2023 announcement added Pink Me Up and You Go Cocoa. The blush wand page now lists six shades: Candlelit, Rosé You Slay, Magic Hour, Berry Radiant, Pink-Me-Up and You Go Cocoa. e.l.f. calls it a glowy liquid blush with a cushion-tip applicator and squalane, and shows 4.5 stars from 3,143 reviews.

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?

Confirmed: prices, shade lists, ratings and claims are from e.l.f.'s current product pages; all three are listed as vegan and cruelty-free.

Not confirmed: the Halo Glow Liquid Filter page showed the shade we opened as out of stock ("on vacay") with a notify option, so availability varies by shade. The pages we read don't give sizes for the filter or blush wand.

Our take: the name is doing real work here. Expect a berry-tinted sheen, not the near-black shade the name might suggest.

What Is in the Formula?

e.l.f. highlights Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Vitamin E as the nourishing ingredients. The full ingredient list, as compiled by Skinsort, starts with emollient esters and oils (Tridecyl Trimellitate, Octyldodecanol, Diisostearyl Malate) and includes synthetic wax and ozokerite for structure, plus Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) and Phenoxyethanol as a preservative. The list also says it may contain iron oxides and lake dyes as colorants.

Our take: that is an oil-and-wax base, which fits the "lipstick meets balm" description. Always check the packaging for the current ingredient list, since brands can change formulas.

Confirmed: e.l.f. sells Black Cherry on its official product page, where it held a 4.6 out of 5 rating from 974 reviews on September 21, 2026. It is also listed on Ulta Beauty.

Not confirmed: the size in ounces was not shown on the e.l.f. page we read, and we don't know whether every Sheer Slick shade is in stock at every retailer.

Yes, it was announced as limited-edition. Yahoo Lifestyle reports the original kit sold out in 18 minutes, and that e.l.f. later brought it back. We could not confirm the date of the re-release or whether it is still available: the e.l.f. page we tried to open returned a "not found" error.

Our take: the kit has already returned once, but there is no guarantee of another run, so if you want a similar look, the two pieces are easy to approximate with e.l.f.'s permanent range. Our Cream Glide Lip Liner guide lists the current shades, including a neutral medium brown (Mocha Move), which is the closest we can point to a light-to-medium brown liner.
