What Is Included in the Set?
e.l.f. lists the following pieces:
- Eyes: Eyeshadow "C" Brush, Small Angled Brush, Small Precision Brush, Small Smudge Brush, Blending Brush and Eye Contour Brush
- Face: Complexion Brush, Fan Brush, Concealer Brush and Blush Brush
- Sponge: Total Face Sponge (latex-free)
e.l.f. says the soft bristles work with powder, cream and liquid formulas, and the handles are FSC-certified wood. Our original launch post described "11 brushes plus a face sponge," but the page's contents list shows ten brushes and one sponge, which is what we've used here.
Who Is It For?
Buy it if you want one kit that covers eyes and face, and you'd like a case for travel.
Skip it if you already own brushes you like, or you want a set of only face brushes. Six of the ten brushes are for eyes.
How Do Shoppers Rate It?
The product page shows 3.8 out of 5 stars from just 16 reviews. Our take: that sample is too small to say much, and it is lower than the ratings we saw on e.l.f.'s makeup pages, so read the recent reviews before buying.
What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?
Confirmed: price, contents, bristle type and rating are from e.l.f.'s current product page.
Not confirmed: the page showed the set as unavailable ("on vacay") when we checked, so we can't say whether it is in stock today. It doesn't give the case dimensions, either.
