New Makeup Releases: Release Dates, Shades & Prices

Marc Jacobs' Daisy Violet Collection is four new versions of Daisy scents in matte purple bottles, with violet, berry, grape and praline accords.

Status: Unconfirmed — campaign visuals have surfaced. Marc Jacobs has not yet listed this collection on its site. Product names, packaging and release dates may change.

The four scents are Daisy Violet, Daisy Eau So Fresh Violet, Daisy Wild Violet and Daisy Love Violet. Marc Jacobs has not announced a price or release date, and no retailer lists the collection yet.

When Did the Marc Jacobs Daisy Violet Collection Launch?

Marc Jacobs hasn't announced an official release date. According to Olfastory, the first three scents surfaced in an announcement in September 2026. On 10 October 2026, a fragrance blogger shared Marc Jacobs' own campaign visuals on Instagram, and those visuals showed a fourth scent.

Marc Jacobs has not announced prices for any market.

What's New in the Daisy Violet Collection

The collection doesn't add a new Daisy pillar. Instead, it reworks four existing Daisy scents in purple packaging. The campaign tagline reads "The iconic Daisy bottle, dressed in bold purple & colorful cap."

Correction: Our earlier version cited Olfastory and iFragrance. It listed Daisy Wild Violet with a jasmine sambac heart and a creamy macadamia base, and Daisy Violet with a wild berries top. The campaign visuals list different notes:

• Daisy Violet is violet from top to heart, over cedarwood.
• Daisy Eau So Fresh Violet pairs blackberry with green geranium and white woods.
• Daisy Wild Violet layers grape and blueberry over sandalwood. The blogger who shared the visuals noted that its blueberry heart fits the current interest in blueberry fragrances.
• Daisy Love Violet is the only one in the amber family, with sorbet and praline accords.

How It Compares with Previous Releases

Daisy launched in 2007 and was created by Alberto Morillas. In 2008 it won two Fragrance Foundation FiFi Awards: women's fragrance of the year and best packaging.

Marc Jacobs often releases Daisy in limited-edition trios, such as:

Electrum Cosmetics' Kaleidoscope Clouds Collection is a 9-pan multichrome eyeshadow palette, a cream-to-powder shadow and a highlighter. The palette costs $75, and the three-piece bundle is $100. The collection went on pre-order at electrumcosmetics.org on 9 October 2026 at 2:00 pm Eastern. Electrum is a small US indie brand that hand-makes its products in the United States and says on its FAQ that they are cruelty-free and vegan.

Updated 10 October 2026: All four products are listed as pre-orders on electrumcosmetics.org. Twinkle Highlighter is limited edition, so stock can change quickly.

Release Date

Electrum Cosmetics announced the launch for Friday, 9 October 2026, at 2:00 pm Eastern. It published the date in a launch post on its own site. On the same day, Electrum's Instagram announced the collection as "AVAILABLE NOW". Every product is sold as a pre-order. Electrum's shipping policy says pre-ordered items ship in approximately 11 weeks unless the listing states otherwise, because every item is hand-made.

Kaleidoscope Clouds Prices

The Kaleidoscope Clouds Palette costs $75. Twilight CloudSet Shadow and Twinkle Highlighter cost $15 each. The Kaleidoscope Clouds Bundle includes all three for $100. Buying the three items one by one would cost $105. Electrum lists prices in USD only.

Electrum hasn't published individual shade descriptions. For the palette as a whole, the brand says: "Cool blue becomes violet. Green catches gold. Pink reveals flashes of blue. Orange burns brighter." Its swatch photos show pastel-to-vivid multichrome sparkle that shifts between blue and violet, green and gold, pink and blue, and orange.

Twilight CloudSet is described by Electrum as "a luminous white-to-gold sparkle". Twinkle is a highlight topper with multicolored reflective sparkles.

What Makes Kaleidoscope Clouds Different?

• Sky theme: Electrum named the collection after a rare optical phenomenon. The brand explains that Kaleidoscope Clouds occur when "thin, high-altitude clouds glow with soft pastel or vibrant rainbow colors".
• All-multichrome palette: All nine pans are multichromes. Electrum calls the palette "Prismatic Dreams' cooler, sparklier older sister".
• A lighter CloudSet: The original CloudSet came with Electrum's Poisoned Love collection and was "a grungy blackened purple scattered with multicolored sparkle". Twilight takes the formula to a white-to-gold sparkle.

Formula and Packaging

• Kaleidoscope Clouds Palette: According to Electrum, the multichromes are creamy and have an ultra-sparkly, high-reflective finish that builds from ethereal to intensely reflective. It is a 9-pan palette.
• Twilight CloudSet Shadow: Electrum describes a "bouncy, whipped texture in the jar". The brand says it melts onto the skin and sets to a sparkling finish without creasing. It comes in a jar, and Electrum suggests it for the lid, inner corner, brow bone and as a face highlighter.
• Twinkle Highlighter: Electrum calls it a multichrome highlight topper. It is a pressed single pan, and the brand says this limited-edition shade "will NOT return once sold out".

P Louise's Christmas lip drop pairs three limited-edition Bad B's lip duos with a 10-piece XL Protect Your Pout set, across five festive scents. P.Louise has not announced a price, release date or retailers for either product.

Status: Partially confirmed. P.Louise has teased the Christmas Bad B's and revealed the XL Protect Your Pout set on Instagram, but neither is on sale yet. Product names, packaging and release details may change.

Updated 10 October 2026: P.Louise revealed the XL Protect Your Pout Christmas set and two more scents, White Chocolate Raspberry and Pink Macaroon.

The brand's other holiday launch is the P.Louise What Glows Around Advent Calendar 2026, a 25-product calendar on pre-order for November 2026 delivery.

When Will the P Louise Christmas Bad B's and XL PYP Set Launch?

P.Louise hasn't announced an official release date for either product. The brand first teased the three Christmas Bad B's flavours on Instagram as "coming soon", then revealed the XL Protect Your Pout set in an Instagram reel on 10 October 2026. Neither post included a launch date or shopping link. This post will be updated when P.Louise confirms the details.

Price

No prices have been announced. For context, P.Louise's US site advertised three Bad Bitch Energy products for $38 on the existing range in September 2026; the brand hasn't said whether the Christmas flavours are included. A single Protect Your Pout Lip Conditioner costs £13 on plouise.co.uk and $17 on p-louise.com.

The XL Protect Your Pout Christmas Set

According to P.Louise's 10 October 2026 reel, the XL PYP set features 10 Protect Your Pout Lip Conditioners across two tiers, and "every finish comes in all five festive scents". The brand describes it as the "same PYP formula you know and love, just looking seriously extra for Christmas."

The Christmas set is not to be confused with P.Louise's Protect Your Pout Cherry Lip Conditioner XL PR Gift Set, listed on plouise.co.uk since 20 June 2026 and in stock as of 10 October 2026.

Both sets share the two-tier, 10-piece format. The Christmas set swaps the all-cherry line-up for five winter scents.

• The same three scents (Strawberry Snowflake, Vanilla Snow Cream, Iced Gumdrop) appear across two formats, the Bad B's duo and the PYP lip conditioner.
• According to P.Louise, every finish in the XL PYP set comes in all five festive scents, where the June Cherry XL set used five cherry flavours.

• Christmas Bad B's: According to P.Louise, the duo uses "soothing and softening ingredients" to nourish dry, damaged lips, with "a subtle tint". Each pairs a lip conditioner with a lip oil in what the brand calls its "iconic Bad B*tch Energy Juice Boxes".
• Protect Your Pout: P.Louise says the formula is built on emollients and coconut-derived fatty acids, a microcrystalline wax blend and vitamin E. The single version is sold as a keychain lip conditioner.

The Glossier Holiday 2026 Collection is a Glossier gift lineup of Glossier You fragrance sets, two new Balm Dotcom flavours and a Black Cherry Lip Duo. US prices run from $16 for a Balm Dotcom to $90 for the Glossier You Duo. The fragrance sets went on sale on 6 October 2026, and the lip products launched on 10 October 2026 at Glossier, Sephora (US and Canada), Sephora at Kohl's and Space NK.

Updated 10 October 2026: The Balm Dotcoms and Black Cherry Lip Duo are now on sale at glossier.com in the US and UK, with UK prices confirmed. Because the Balm Dotcoms and the Wardrobe Kit are limited edition, stock can change quickly.

Klarity Kosmetics' Ace of Spades Lip Gloss is an ultra black lip gloss returning on 16 October 2026 alongside 14 brand-new lip glosses. The indie US brand announced the relaunch on Instagram on 10 October 2026. The new glosses will go on sale online at klaritykosmetics.com. Their names, shades and price haven't been announced yet.

Status: Announced by the brand; product pages not live yet. Klarity Kosmetics has only teased this launch, so names, shades, packaging and pricing may change before release.

Klarity Kosmetics says the Ace of Spades black lip gloss and 14 more new lip glosses launch on 16 October 2026. On 10 October 2026, a search on klaritykosmetics.com for "ace of spades" returned no results, so the product pages aren't live yet. No retailer launches or international release dates have been confirmed.

Price

The brand hasn't announced a price for Ace of Spades or the 14 new lip glosses. For context only, most of Klarity Kosmetics' current lip glosses on klaritykosmetics.com cost $14 (US). A few cost $15–$16. Nova, Main Attraction and Eternity, added in May 2026, are each listed at $14. These prices may not apply to the new launch.

Shades and Products

• Ace of Spades: described by the brand as its "ultra black lipgloss." This is a relaunch, not a new product. An Ace of Spades product page was on klaritykosmetics.com from at least December 2021 to August 2024, according to Wayback Machine snapshots. Klarity Kosmetics hasn't said whether the formula has changed.
• 14 new lip glosses: names and shades not yet announced.

The official packshot shows a black tube with "Klarity KOSMETICS" script lettering and an open doe-foot applicator. It also shows a glossy jet-black swatch with tiny reflective flecks.

DIBS Beauty's Double Standard Primer & Mascara Duo in Burgundy is a dual-ended mascara pairing a burgundy tubing primer with a black volumizing mascara. It costs $31 (US) and goes on sale on dibsbeauty.com on 15 October 2026. It is a new shade of the Brown Double Standard Primer & Mascara Duo, which launched in June 2025.

Price

The Burgundy Double Standard Primer & Mascara Duo costs $31 (US) on dibsbeauty.com. That is the same price as the Brown version. DIBS has not announced UK or European pricing.

What Makes the Burgundy Double Standard Primer & Mascara Duo Different?

• Coloured primer instead of white. DIBS says the burgundy primer avoids the greyish or chalky cast that white primers can leave.
• Two formulas in one tube. A lengthening tubing primer sits at one end and a volumizing black mascara at the other. DIBS says this gives up to three lash looks: primer alone, mascara alone, or both layered.
• A new primer shade. Burgundy replaces the brown primer of the June 2025 original. The black mascara end is unchanged.

Formula and Packaging

• Burgundy Tubing Lengthening Primer: The brand lists shea butter, sugar cane extract, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate and glycerin among its ingredients. Its colour comes from iron oxides and ultramarines. It is applied with an elastomer-bristle brush that DIBS says separates and defines lashes.
• Black Volumizing Mascara: This end also contains shea butter, according to DIBS. It is applied with a wavy, 290-fiber wand that the brand says adds lift and buildable thickness.
• Tubing format: DIBS says both ends are flake-free and smudge-proof, and that they remove with warm water.

DIBS's product images report that "100% said it provides extreme length" and "94% said it intensifies mascara color" for the Burgundy Primer. These are brand-reported consumer-perception figures, and the panel size is not stated.

Sweep the burgundy primer through the lashes on its own for defined length, or follow with the black mascara for volume. DIBS says the precise primer brush is also designed to define lower lashes without clumping.

Redken Acidic Cleansing Mist Dry Shampoo is a new non-aerosol, two-phase dry shampoo for oily hair and scalp, built on an acidic glycolipids complex. It costs $32 for 100 ml at redken.com and Ulta Beauty, where it was on sale in the US by 10 October 2026. It joins Redken's Acidic range alongside the Acidic Bonding Concentrate line as a dry shampoo in mist form.

When Did the Redken Acidic Cleansing Mist Launch?

Redken hasn't announced an official release date. The first reviews appeared on Ulta Beauty's listing on 29 September 2026. Many of them are marked as received in exchange for an honest review. By 10 October 2026 the dry shampoo was in stock at both redken.com and Ulta Beauty in the US, and Ulta marks it as New. At that point Ulta showed 98 reviews with a 4.6-star average, and redken.com showed no reviews yet.

Price

In the US, the 100 ml / 3.4 fl oz bottle costs $32.00 at both redken.com and Ulta Beauty. For comparison within the same range, the Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo costs $37 for 300 ml at redken.com. No UK, Canadian or European pricing has been published yet.

Key Details

According to Redken, the mist combines glycolipids with a 12% Cleansing Complex. The brand says it absorbs, dries quickly and dissolves up to 4 days of excess oil, buildup and odour. Ulta words the same claim as "absorbs 100 hours of excess oil and buildup."

What Makes the Redken Acidic Cleansing Mist Different?

• Non-aerosol mist format. It is a liquid mist with no propellants, rather than a pressurised powder spray.
• Two-phase formula with mixing beads. You shake it to activate it, and Redken's product images show stainless steel beads inside that mix the formula and help prevent the nozzle from clogging.
• Acidic positioning. It carries Redken's Acidic pH Technology into a dry shampoo, matching the Acidic Bonding Concentrate shampoo, conditioner, 5-Min Liquid Mask and Leave-In Treatment.

It arrived around the same time as the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Frosted Fig Dry Shampoo, a limited seasonal dry shampoo. Redken's launch is a non-aerosol mist rather than a seasonal scent. More launches are in our hair care section.

• Acidic Cleansing Mist Dry Shampoo: According to Redken, its Acidic Glycolipids Complex breaks down oil without disrupting the scalp's hydration. The brand describes the formula as vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients, and 94.83% biodegradable (per OECD 301 or equivalent tests). The bottle is made with 94% recycled plastic, and Redken says it is 80% less pack-intensive than an aerosol.

How to Use

Redken says to shake the bottle well for at least 5 seconds, then section dry hair and spray the roots. Wait 30 seconds for it to dry before massaging, brushing or combing it through.

Redken ambassador Blake Reed Evans says: "I love Acidic Cleansing Mist because it gives the hair that true clean feeling, like it's actually been freshly washed. The non-aerosol mist makes it easy to refresh the hair without that heavy, powdery feel you can get from a traditional dry shampoo."

ColourPop's Super Stain Peel-Off Lip Stain & Gloss Duo is a dual-ended lip product pairing a peel-off lip stain with a Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil gloss. It comes in six shades at $15 each. It went on sale at colourpop.com on 1 October 2026 and is now also at Ulta Beauty in the US, where it is marked New and has no reviews yet.

It's one of several ColourPop autumn 2026 launches. The others include the ColourPop Fallen Collection, released 29 September with a 15-pan eyeshadow palette, Cloud Whip Lip & Cheek Puddings and lip liners. There is also the ColourPop Disney A Very Mickey Christmas collection, launched 8 October.

When Did the ColourPop Super Stain Peel-Off Lip Stain & Gloss Duo Launch?

We found no official release date from ColourPop. The six shades were first on sale at colourpop.com on 1 October 2026. On 10 October 2026, all six were listed at Ulta Beauty (US). The "available now at Ulta" announcement circulating on Instagram came from a repost account, not from ColourPop. This is not a brand-new launch, but a wider retail rollout of a product ColourPop listed nine days earlier.

• Single shade: $15 at colourpop.com and Ulta Beauty (US)
• Trio sets: $42 each at colourpop.com. Three singles would be $45.
• Full Collection: $84 at colourpop.com. Six singles would be $90.

What Makes the Super Stain Peel-Off Lip Stain & Gloss Duo Different?

• ColourPop calls it its "first 2-in-1 peel-off lip stain and gloss duo."
• Each duo has two contrasting shades: a stain colour and a separately described gloss colour. In Kitschy, for example, the stain is rich mauve and the gloss is sheer pink with rainbow shimmer.
• ColourPop presents it as "six duos, two looks each." The stain can be worn as a stained lip liner or all over the lips.

Formula and Packaging

• Stain end: a peel-off lip stain with a precision applicator tip, which ColourPop says gives a clean, exact line. According to the brand, the longer the stain stays on before peeling, the deeper the colour.
• Gloss end: a glassy gloss made with Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil. The brand says it leaves lips feeling hydrated and comfortable rather than sticky or heavy.
• Panel claims: ColourPop surveyed 16 people and measured immediate results. 100% said it gave buildable colour with extra layers. 94% said it peeled off cleanly and left even colour. 100% said it felt comfortable and hydrating. It's a small panel, and these are the brand's own figures.

ColourPop's directions are to apply the stain to dry, bare lips and let it dry within 5 minutes. You then peel it off and top it with the gloss end. The brand suggests prepping lips first with its Fresh Kiss Lip Scrub.

The Free People Holiday Favorites Beauty Bag is a limited-edition set of three full-size lip, cheek and nail products, a travel perfume and a makeup bag. It costs $48 at freepeople.com (US), where Free People gives it a "$93 Value", and it was on sale with a "NEW" badge by 10 October 2026. The set mixes Free People's own lip oil with products from Freck Beauty, Kur and Vyrao.

The bag costs $48 at freepeople.com (US). Free People states a $93 value. The three full-size products add up to $60 at Free People's own prices ($18 + $22 + $20). Free People doesn't price the Vyrao travel size or the makeup bag separately, so it isn't possible to break down the rest of the $93 figure.
