When Did the Dr. Jart+ Prejuvenation Bakuchiol Cream Launch?
Dr. Jart+ hasn't published a launch date. The cream was in Sephora US's "Just Dropped" product grid when we first reported it on 17 July 2024.
How Much Does the Prejuvenation Cream Cost?
It costs $69 for 50 ml on drjart.com and at Sephora US. Sephora listed it at $64 when we first covered it in July 2024, so the US price has gone up by $5 since launch. In Canada, Sephora sells it for C$93.50. In the UK, Cult Beauty lists it at £55 and LOOKFANTASTIC at £49.
What Does Dr. Jart+ Say the Cream Does?
According to Dr. Jart+, the cream delivers "retinol-like" firming and helps reduce the look of lines, while staying gentle enough to use twice a day. The brand describes it as dermatologist tested and suitable for sensitive skin. The three key ingredients, as Dr. Jart+ describes them:
- Bakuchiol (99% high-purity): an antioxidant from the leaves and seeds of the Psoralea corylifolia (babchi) plant. The brand credits it with the firming and line-reducing effect.
- Collagen peptide: works with bakuchiol to firm skin, according to the brand.
- 1% panthenol: helps strengthen the skin barrier for moisture retention. Our 2024 post said 5%; the brand's current page lists 1%.
Dr. Jart+ also publishes clinical results from third-party testing on 33 women:

How Does It Fit Into the Prejuvenation Line?
The line also includes the Prejuvenation Firming Bakuchiol Serum, also 50 ml, at $72 at Sephora US. The serum and cream share the bakuchiol and collagen peptide pairing. Dr. Jart+ suggests the cream as a hydrating base before makeup as well as a regular moisturizer. How to Use the Prejuvenation Cream
Dr. Jart+ says the cream is gentle enough to use twice a day, morning and night, and can go on before makeup as a hydrated base. Bakuchiol isn't a retinoid, which is why the brand pitches it to people who are sensitive to retinol.
