Fenty Beauty Hella Thicc Waterproof Mascara is a new waterproof version of the brand's Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara, listed in the shade Cuz I'm Black. Amazon US has it on pre-order at $24.00 with a release date of 31 January 2027. Fenty Beauty has not yet announced the launch on its own site.

When Will the Fenty Beauty Hella Thicc Waterproof Mascara Launch?

Fenty Beauty has not announced an official release date. On 2 November 2026, the spoiler blog Durbin Rock reported the launch. On 3 November 2026, Amazon US listed the mascara for pre-order with the note "This item will be released on January 31, 2027." This is the retailer's date, and it may change once Fenty Beauty confirms the launch.

Price

Amazon US lists the Hella Thicc Waterproof Mascara at $24.00, which works out to $72.73 per fluid ounce. That unit price puts the tube at about 0.33 fl oz.

For comparison, the original Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara has these regular prices on fentybeauty.com:

• $13.00 for the 6.5 mL mini

Both sizes are currently discounted to $16.50 and $9.75. Prices for the UK, Europe and other markets have not been announced.

Shades

Only one shade is listed so far: Cuz I'm Black. Fenty Beauty has not announced any other shades for the waterproof version. The original mascara comes in three shades: Cuz I'm Black, Let'z Be Blunt and Elec'Trip Blue.

Both use the same faceted black tube shape. The waterproof version adds a blue band, and so far it is listed in only one shade.

What Makes the Hella Thicc Waterproof Mascara Different?

• Waterproof format: It is a waterproof version of the existing Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara.
• Blue-band packaging: The official packshot shows "FENTY BEAUTY" printed vertically on a periwinkle-blue brush-stroke band. Durbin Rock describes this band as the way to tell the two tubes apart.
• Single shade at launch: Cuz I'm Black is the only listed shade, compared with three shades for the original.

Formula and Packaging

• Waterproof formula: Fenty Beauty has not published the ingredients, wear time or brush details for the waterproof version.
• Original formula: For the Volumizing Mascara, the brand describes an "ultra-creamy, ultra-black formula" with "a tapered brush that coats and loads every lash for an effect that looks outrageous yet feels weightless."
• Original wear claims: According to Fenty Beauty, the original is sweat-, humidity- and transfer-resistant, as well as clean, vegan and gluten-free.

The Fenty Beauty x CASETiFY collection is a limited-edition line of tech accessories, led by mirror phone cases and a MagSafe lip-gloss holder. US prices run from $14 to $74, and five bundles from $35 to $115 pair the pieces with mini Fenty Beauty products. It went on sale at fentybeauty.com in the US and Canada on 27 October 2026, and part of it is now on sale at fentybeauty.co.uk.

Updated 28 October 2026: all 27 pieces and bundles are in stock at fentybeauty.com in the US and Canada. Fenty Beauty UK lists nine pieces, six of them available to buy, including the Ripple bundle at £116. CASETiFY launches the collection on casetify.com today, 28 October 2026, at 11:00am PT. Because it's limited edition, stock can change quickly.

The collab launches in the same season as the Fenty Beauty Holiday Windows Collection 2026, the brand's holiday makeup release.

Release Date

The Fenty Beauty x CASETiFY collection went on sale at fentybeauty.com on 27 October 2026, the evening launch Trendmood had reported (8pm PST). On 28 October 2026 every piece and bundle showed as in stock on Fenty Beauty's US and Canada sites. Fenty Beauty UK lists nine pieces at fentybeauty.co.uk, six of them available to buy on 28 October. CASETiFY says the collection launches on its own site on 28 October 2026 at 11:00am PT, and shoppers can join the waitlist on the CASETiFY co-lab page until then.

• Perfect, Logo and Midnight Cases: a granite frame with a built-in mirror, 4.9-ft. drop protection, and MagSafe and wireless charging. Formula and Packaging

• Mini Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer (5.5 mL): Fenty Beauty says it contains Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Peptide and has a peach-vanilla scent. It comes with an XXL wand. Gloss Bomb also comes in stick form as Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix. The brand lists Fu$$y and Hot Chocolit as vegan shades.
• Mini Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder (4 g): a universal shade. The brand says it contains Chia Seed Extract to mattify and Sodium Hyaluronate for comfortable wear. It lists all of the ingredients as vegan.
• Ripple Case: soft-touch silicone with a non-slip grip and an anti-scratch coating, according to the brand.

Fenty Beauty states it is 100% cruelty free. For another holiday gift from the brand, the Fenty 12 Dayz advent calendar combines Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin products.

Fenty Beauty may soon have a new co-owner: Jay-Z's MarcyPen Capital Partners is reportedly close to buying LVMH's 50% stake in Rihanna's brand. Puck first reported the talks on 30 September 2026. None of the parties has confirmed a deal.

Updated 18 October 2026: As of today, no signed deal, price or official statement from LVMH, MarcyPen or Fenty Beauty has been announced.

What Has Been Reported

On Wednesday 30 September 2026, Puck reported that MarcyPen Capital Partners is nearing an agreement to buy LVMH's half of Fenty Beauty. Hypebeast, Dancehall Mag and Yahoo Finance (via TheGrio) relayed the report. A source close to the transaction told Puck the agreement could be signed within the next three to four weeks. No financial terms were disclosed.

Yahoo Finance reports that MarcyPen declined to comment. Hypebeast notes that neither MarcyPen nor Roc Nation executive Jay Brown responded to Puck's request for comment.

What Isn't Confirmed Yet

• Price: No figure has been reported for this deal. Hypebeast, citing XXL, says Fenty Beauty was once valued at more than $2 billion. More recent estimates put it nearer $1 billion. Neither figure has been confirmed for this transaction.
• Signing: The three-to-four-week window that began on 30 September 2026 runs to roughly late October 2026. No signing has been reported.
• Statements: No public statement from LVMH, Fenty Beauty or Rihanna has been reported. LVMH's third-quarter 2026 revenue release on lvmh.com does not mention Fenty Beauty.

How LVMH's Sale Process Got Here

According to Yahoo Finance, Reuters reported in October 2025 that LVMH had begun exploring a sale of its stake and was working with the investment bank Evercore. Sources at the time valued Fenty Beauty at $1 billion to $2 billion. The same reporting said the brand made about $450 million in net sales in 2024.

In June 2026, Beauty Independent reported that MarcyPen had emerged as a strong contender. Cosmetics Business and Yahoo Finance cite that report, which said MarcyPen had evaluated several financing structures and held talks with outside investors.

Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 through Kendo Brands, LVMH's beauty incubator. Yahoo Finance notes that the brand's own materials still describe it as a joint venture. According to Vibe, it made $100 million in sales in its first 100 days.

Who Is MarcyPen?

According to Hypebeast, MarcyPen formed in 2024 when Jay-Z's Marcy Venture Partners merged with Pendulum Opportunities, the investment vehicle run by D'Rita and Robbie Robinson.

The firm's links to Rihanna's businesses predate the merger. Marcy Venture Partners took part in Savage X Fenty funding rounds in 2019 and 2022. Co-founder Jay Brown is also credited as a co-founder of both Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.

The personal history goes back further still. Yahoo Finance and Dancehall Mag both note that Jay-Z signed Rihanna to Def Jam Records in 2005.

What It Could Mean for Fenty Beauty

Ownership: If the deal closes as reported, LVMH would exit and Rihanna's half would remain unchanged. Ownership would then split 50/50 between Rihanna and MarcyPen.

Retail: LVMH helped Fenty Beauty scale through Sephora, which it owns. Yahoo Finance points out that an investment firm operates differently from a luxury group. No report has said whether the Sephora relationship would change.

Products and shoppers: No change to products or shoppers has been announced. Launches have continued as normal, most recently the Fenty Beauty Stunna Stix Soft-Glide Matte Lipstick and the Fenty Beauty Holiday Windows Collection 2026.

The Fenty Beauty Stunna Stix Soft-Glide Matte Lipstick is a new $24 slim matte lipstick, sold at Fenty's TikTok Shop US store in the true red Uncensored. Fenty Beauty announced it on 7 October 2026 and currently sells it only through its TikTok Shop store; four more shades appear in the product gallery without a price or date.

Fenty Beauty announced the Stunna Stix on TikTok on 7 October 2026 ("Introducing our NEW Stunna Stix… Cop now ONLY on TikTok Shop"), and it was available at Fenty Beauty's TikTok Shop US store by 7 October. Creator videos featuring the lipstick appeared from 6 October 2026, and Fenty Beauty followed with an Instagram post on 10 October 2026. That day, the TikTok Shop listing showed 98 units sold.

Stunna Stix Shades

Uncensored is the only shade on sale as of 10 October 2026. Fenty Beauty calls it its "signature true red," and the campaign calls it "Rihanna's signature red." Campaign images show Rihanna wearing Uncensored with Trace'd Out in The MVP.

What Makes the Stunna Stix Soft-Glide Matte Lipstick Different?

• Format: it is a solid matte lipstick in a slim stick. It is not the Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color, the liquid formula that also comes in Uncensored ($29 at fentybeauty.com, £25 at fentybeauty.co.uk).
• Sales channel: Fenty Beauty currently sells it only through its TikTok Shop store, not its own sites or US beauty retailers.
• Liner pairing: each of the five shown shades has a named Trace'd Out liner match.

It joins Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Stix, the brand's high-shine gloss in stick form, as another stick-format lip product.

How to Wear It

Fenty Beauty's "For an extra plush look" graphic gives two steps. First, reset and prep lips with the Fenty Skin Plush Puddin' lip mask. Then blot the excess and swipe on Stunna Stix.

For "the most iconic red lip," the brand pairs Uncensored with Trace'd Out in The MVP. Its TikTok launch post offers a free Fenty Beauty sharpener with that pairing.

Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin have released the 12 Dayz of Fenty Beauty + Fenty Skin 12-Piece Advent Calendar for Holiday 2026. The calendar is priced at £115 in the UK and $190 in the US and contains 12 full-size and mini makeup and skincare products. The box is designed as a pink Fenty shopfront with a gold-framed FENTY sign. It opens like a pair of doors onto twelve drawers drawn as pastel shopfronts and doorways, numbered out of order.

Fenty Beauty's Cheeks Suede Powder Blush is a $28 pressed powder blush that Fenty says is waterproof, sweat-resistant and humidity-resistant. It was announced in August 2024 with eight shades, and Fenty's site now lists 14, at the same $28 price.

Our take: going by those labels, this is mostly a shimmer range: nine shimmer shades against four matte. If you want a matte cheek, your options are the four named above. We haven't swatched the shades, so check finish and depth on the product page before choosing.

What Does "Suede" Mean for This Blush?

Fenty describes an airy-soft, blendable formula with one-swipe color payoff and a non-drying feel, and says the shades stay in place without caking. The launch announcement added that there is no fallout or chalky finish. The ingredient list on the page starts with dimethicone, mica, trimethylsiloxysilicate and silica, plus iron oxides and titanium dioxide (which vary by shade).

The product page shows 4.5 stars from 192 reviews. Our take: that is a solid score on a moderate sample.

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?

Confirmed: price, size, shade names and finishes, rating and ingredients are from Fenty's product page.

Not confirmed: the Wattabrat page showed that shade as sold out when we checked, so availability varies by shade. The page doesn't say which shades were in the original eight.

September 21, 2026 update: we re-checked the price, shade list and rating. The price is unchanged since the August 2024 announcement, and the range has grown from eight to 14 shades.
