The new Cooling Chromes and Fractal Eye Paints shades cost $20 and $18 respectively. All three went on sale on 11 October 2026 at aboutface.com, the official site of Halsey's brand about-face. The products are sold separately, not as a boxed set.

Updated 12 October 2026: All three launches are now on sale at aboutface.com, with prices and shade names confirmed. All 11 new shades are in stock. The launch announcement called Glow Orbs limited edition, so stock can change quickly.

Release Date

about-face announced 11 October 2026 as the release date for all three products. Glow Orbs was published on aboutface.com that day. When we checked on 12 October 2026, all 11 new shades were listed and in stock on aboutface.com.

  • Cooling Chromes: $20 (US) each

  • Heavenly: pink and white swirl

Cooling Chromes gets three new pastel shades:

  • Float On: pink

  • Deep Space: plum
  • Luminary: bronze
  • Celestial Body: iridescent white
  • Orion: pink
  • To The Moon: slate grey

  • UK: Not yet confirmed. aboutface.com does not currently ship to the UK.
  • Europe: Not yet confirmed.
  • Other markets: Availability varies by region. about-face currently ships only to the US and Canada.

Checked 12 October 2026: All three products were listed and in stock on aboutface.com.

What Makes the Glow Orb Launch Different?

  • New format: Glow Orbs is the launch's only new product, a marbled cream highlighter in a twist-up orb. Cooling Chromes and Fractal Eye Paint only add new shades.
  • Pastel shade story: The three new Cooling Chromes shades are pink, pale gold and iridescent lilac-white.
  • Warm and cool mix: The new Fractal Eye Paint shades include warm tones (plum, bronze, pink) and cool tones (iridescent white, slate grey).

Formula and Packaging

  • Glow Orbs: about-face describes it as a buildable "marbled cream formula that illuminates with a glowy finish." The brand says it contains micro-fine pearls and microshimmers, plus meadowfoam seed, macadamia and sunflower seed oils. It comes as a pocket-sized twist-up orb in a gun-metal component.
  • Cooling Chromes: According to the brand, this is a one-swipe eye and face highlighter stick that feels cool to the touch. It can be layered from a subtle sheen to high-saturation shimmer, and its ingredients include sunflower seed and jojoba oils. about-face advises capping the stick after use to prevent it drying out.
  • Fractal Eye Paint: about-face calls this a shimmering mousse eyeshadow with super-fine glitter, infused with marula oil. The brand says it is long-wearing and water-resistant, and doesn't crease, crack, transfer or fall out.

The brand says all about-face products are 100% vegan, and it describes Cooling Chromes as cruelty-free.

For Glow Orbs, about-face's directions are to swipe the orb onto the cheekbones, brow bones, bridge of the nose or cupid's bow. Then blend it out with fingertips, a sponge or a brush.

Electrum Cosmetics Kaleidoscope Clouds Collection 2026: Release Date, Shades & Prices

Electrum Cosmetics Kaleidoscope Clouds eyeshadow palette box beside a black moon-print box and a glittery single pan

Electrum Cosmetics' Kaleidoscope Clouds Collection is a 9-pan multichrome eyeshadow palette, a cream-to-powder shadow and a highlighter. The palette costs $75, and the three-piece bundle is $100. The collection went on pre-order at electrumcosmetics.org on 9 October 2026 at 2:00 pm Eastern. Electrum is a small US indie brand that hand-makes its products in the United States and says on its FAQ that they are cruelty-free and vegan.

Updated 10 October 2026: All four products are listed as pre-orders on electrumcosmetics.org. Twinkle Highlighter is limited edition, so stock can change quickly.

Release Date

Electrum Cosmetics announced the launch for Friday, 9 October 2026, at 2:00 pm Eastern. It published the date in a launch post on its own site. On the same day, Electrum's Instagram announced the collection as "AVAILABLE NOW". Every product is sold as a pre-order. Electrum's shipping policy says pre-ordered items ship in approximately 11 weeks unless the listing states otherwise, because every item is hand-made.

Kaleidoscope Clouds Prices

The Kaleidoscope Clouds Palette costs $75. Twilight CloudSet Shadow and Twinkle Highlighter cost $15 each. The Kaleidoscope Clouds Bundle includes all three for $100. Buying the three items one by one would cost $105. Electrum lists prices in USD only.

What's Inside the Kaleidoscope Clouds Bundle

The bundle contains three products, listed on Electrum's bundle page:

  • Kaleidoscope Clouds Palette: 9-pan multichrome eyeshadow palette, size not listed
  • Twilight CloudSet Shadow: cream-to-powder shadow in a jar, size not listed
  • Twinkle Highlighter: pressed single-pan multichrome highlight topper, size not listed

Electrum lists no sizes, so a total weight can't be given.

Kaleidoscope Clouds Shades

Electrum's palette photo shows these nine shade names:

  • Whimsical
  • Altocumulus
  • Cirrus
  • Aurora Haze
  • Kaleidoscope
  • Horizon
  • Prism
  • Golden Hour
  • Cloud 9

Electrum hasn't published individual shade descriptions. For the palette as a whole, the brand says: "Cool blue becomes violet. Green catches gold. Pink reveals flashes of blue. Orange burns brighter." Its swatch photos show pastel-to-vivid multichrome sparkle that shifts between blue and violet, green and gold, pink and blue, and orange.

Twilight CloudSet is described by Electrum as "a luminous white-to-gold sparkle". Twinkle is a highlight topper with multicolored reflective sparkles.

Another cloud-themed indie eyeshadow launch this season is the MBA Cosmetics Head In The Clouds Eyeshadow Collection. For another recent indie palette, see the Glaminatrix Into the Mist Palette.

Where to Buy

Checked 10 October 2026: All four products are listed as pre-order on electrumcosmetics.org.

What Makes Kaleidoscope Clouds Different?

  • Sky theme: Electrum named the collection after a rare optical phenomenon. The brand explains that Kaleidoscope Clouds occur when "thin, high-altitude clouds glow with soft pastel or vibrant rainbow colors".
  • All-multichrome palette: All nine pans are multichromes. Electrum calls the palette "Prismatic Dreams' cooler, sparklier older sister".
  • A lighter CloudSet: The original CloudSet came with Electrum's Poisoned Love collection and was "a grungy blackened purple scattered with multicolored sparkle". Twilight takes the formula to a white-to-gold sparkle.

Formula and Packaging

  • Kaleidoscope Clouds Palette: According to Electrum, the multichromes are creamy and have an ultra-sparkly, high-reflective finish that builds from ethereal to intensely reflective. It is a 9-pan palette.
  • Twilight CloudSet Shadow: Electrum describes a "bouncy, whipped texture in the jar". The brand says it melts onto the skin and sets to a sparkling finish without creasing. It comes in a jar, and Electrum suggests it for the lid, inner corner, brow bone and as a face highlighter.
  • Twinkle Highlighter: Electrum calls it a multichrome highlight topper. It is a pressed single pan, and the brand says this limited-edition shade "will NOT return once sold out".

Trophy Wife Eyeshadow Palette Shades

The shade names follow a wealth and luxury theme that matches the palette's name. The descriptions below are based on Adept's official photos, not swatches. They are listed row by row as printed in the pans:

Where to Buy

  • US: Adept Cosmetics ($68): sold out at launch; second preorder open, shipping by the week of 21 December 2026. Adept sells direct, and no retailer listings (such as Sephora or Ulta Beauty) have been found.
  • UK: No UK retailer. Adeptcosmetics.com lists shipping to the UK. Orders ship from the US and are charged in USD, so import duties and taxes may apply.
  • Canada: Adeptcosmetics.com lists shipping to Canada. No Canadian retailer is confirmed.
  • Europe: Monolith Shop (€79.90, ships from Germany) lists the palette but it is not available to order. Adeptcosmetics.com also lists shipping to France.
  • Other markets: Adeptcosmetics.com lists shipping to China and Hong Kong. No other stockists are confirmed.

Checked 17 October 2026: launch listing and first preorder sold out; second preorder available at $68 on adeptcosmetics.com; Monolith Shop €79.90, not available to order.

What Makes the Trophy Wife Palette Different?

  • Rearrangeable pans: According to Adept, the shades can be popped out and rearranged. The back of the palette has push-out holes.
  • One-of-a-kind cases: The case is marbled in peach, caramel, brown and white, with "ADEPT COSMETICS" embossed on the lid. The brand says the marbling is handcrafted, so no two palettes look the same.
  • A single theme across all 15 names: Every shade name, from Trust Fund to Prenup, refers to money or luxury, in line with the Trophy Wife title.

Formula and Packaging

  • Formula: According to Adept's ingredient list, the shadows are free from talc, sunflower oil and parabens. They use two formula bases. The first covers Diamond Pearl, Summer House, Silk Peach, Champagne Wishes, Private Jet, Black Card, Prenup and Inheritance. The second covers the other seven shades. Key ingredients include mica, silica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, calcium aluminum borosilicate, dimethicone and candelilla wax. The brand gives a shelf life of about one year after opening.
  • Packaging: Adept says the case is made of over 35% recycled or upcycled plastic, and the mirror protector is 100% upcycled. The brand notes that a UV-coat smell may be noticeable on opening and fades over time. According to Adept, the palette is made in a 100% solar-powered lab in Shanghai with SA 8000, ISO 9001, ISO 22716 and GMP certification.

Adept advises applying the high-sparkle shimmers with your fingers rather than a brush. The brand recommends a good eye primer underneath. It notes that some fallout and creasing will happen with these shimmers, depending on skin type.

What Makes the Lightwork VIII Freedom Palette Different?

  • Earth-to-sky shade story: warm mattes and copper metallics sit alongside lilac, lavender and violet chromes.
  • Seven named finishes in one palette: these range from five color-accurate mattes to three marbled multichromes.
  • Freedom System format: the minis stack magnetically, and you can carry 6, 12 or all 18 shades. The design matches Lightwork VI and VII, according to Glam Junkies.

Formula and Packaging

  • Formula: According to the brand, the shadows are finger-forward with brushes optional, and are "designed for all skin levels and all makeup styles." Glam Junkies reports the formulas are vegan and cruelty-free, citing the brand.
  • Packaging: Individual pans can be removed and rearranged. The palette also mixes and stacks with other Freedom palettes, such as the Everyday Magic and Pastel Dream Mini Freedom Palettes.

Danessa Myricks says: "This palette is your passport to freedom. I designed it so you can go from everyday basics to your boldest self-expression with ease." The brand's directions are to swipe any shade over the eyelid. Its press images show the shades on eyes and cheeks, and some on lips, with a footnote on that image, so not every shade is presented as lip-safe.

  • Wider shade range: Classic Pinks and Signature Plums bring the current lineup to four quads, after Warm Neutrals and Cool Neutrals.

For other four-shade launches, see the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Spring 2027 palettes and the Urban Decay Moondust Full Shimmer Quad Palette.

Formula and Packaging

According to Thrive Causemetics, the shadows use Semi-Permanent Micropigment Technology™ for crease-resistant colour. The formula includes hyaluronic acid, aloe leaf extract, provitamin B5, rice extract and vitamin E, which the brand says hydrate and condition the eyelid skin.

The palettes are vegan, cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified. They are formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates and synthetic fragrance. The brand says the formula is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested and "safe for contact lens wearers."

For application, the brand suggests sweeping the Crease shade across the lid and lower lash line, then placing the Lid shade on the centre of the lid. Next, blend the Define shade into the outer corner, and press the Highlight shade into the inner corner and under the brow bone. For a stronger shimmer, the brand recommends applying the shimmer shades with a fingertip or a damp brush.

Urban Decay Chrome Melts Eyeshadow: Release Date, Shades, Price & What's New

Urban Decay Chrome Melts Eyeshadow in a clear square compact, rippled amber-red pan with a gold chrome shift

Urban Decay Chrome Melts Eyeshadow is a freeze-dried, high-pigment metallic single eyeshadow in five shades, with foil, duo chrome and triple chrome shifts. Urban Decay announced it on Instagram on 12 October 2026 with the caption "introducing Chrome Melts: freeze-dried chromatic pigments. molten metal shine. five explosive shifting shades." Each shade costs $26 in the US, and the eyeshadow first went on sale at Ulta Beauty and Sephora US in early October 2026.

Urban Decay's other new launch this season is the Urban Decay When Sip Happens Lip Toy Duo, a limited-edition Sephora app exclusive.

Updated 12 October 2026: Urban Decay has announced the launch on its own Instagram. The eyeshadow is now listed on urbandecay.com. Sephora Canada lists it at CA$35. Hot Head is no longer marked "Coming Soon".

When Did the Urban Decay Chrome Melts Eyeshadow Launch?

Urban Decay hasn't announced an official launch day. Chrome Melts was first seen on sale at Ulta Beauty and Sephora US in early October 2026, and Sephora US sells it online only. The brand's own announcement post went up on Instagram on 12 October 2026. By that date the eyeshadow was also listed on urbandecay.com and Sephora Canada.

Price

  • US: $26 at urbandecay.com, Ulta Beauty and Sephora
  • Canada: CA$35 at Sephora Canada
  • UK and Europe: Not yet confirmed

Urban Decay Chrome Melts Shades

Chrome Melts comes in five shades. Two are foils, two are duo chrome shifts and one is a triple chrome shift. The Sephora listing describes them as:

  • Bit Moody: champagne with silver gold foil
  • Temper Tantrum: silver foil
  • Hot Head: amber red with green gold triple chrome shift
  • Zero Chill: blue with violet duo chrome shift
  • Crash Out: green with gold duo chrome shift

  • Canada: Sephora Canada (CA$35, marked New)
  • UK: Not yet confirmed

  • Other markets: availability varies by region; more international stockists may be added.

Checked 12 October 2026: At urbandecay.com, Zero Chill is in stock, while Bit Moody, Crash Out, Hot Head and Temper Tantrum are shown as out of stock. Ulta Beauty lists the eyeshadow in stock online. Sephora US lists four of the five shades. Sephora Canada lists four colours.

What Makes the Chrome Melts Eyeshadow Different?

  • Freeze-dried formula: Sephora's listing describes a "liquid-to-frozen cryo-extraction process".
  • Shade mix: The five shades are split into two foils, two duo chrome shifts and one triple chrome shift.
  • Format: Each shade is sold as a single pan rather than in a palette.

Formula and Packaging

  • Chrome Melts High-Pigment Metallic Eyeshadow: According to Urban Decay, the freeze-drying process locks in emollient-coated pigments for a buttery feel, easy pickup and richer colour payoff. The brand calls the result an "explosive multi-dimensional chromatic finish" with a silky, blendable texture that "melts onto lids". Campaign images describe it as "our most multi-dimensional eyeshadow" and "our most buttery formula yet". Key ingredients on the Sephora ingredient list are silica, aluminum powder (which gives the metallic effect), squalane, glycerin and tocopherol. Each pan holds 0.05 oz / 1.5 g.

For another recent metallic eye launch, see the about-face Cooling Chromes & Fractal Eye Paints, or browse all makeup releases.

How to Use

Sephora's listing says to pick up the shadow with a fingertip or a brush, sweep it onto the lids, then blend and build to the intensity you want. It also suggests applying the shadow with a wet brush and layering it.

TOM FORD Runway Eye Color Stylo 2026: Release Date, Shades & Price

Ten TOM FORD Eye Color Stylo sticks in a row, shades 101 to 110, with dark brown barrels and shimmering tips

TOM FORD Beauty has launched the Runway Eye Color Stylo, a shimmer cream eyeshadow stick in 10 shades priced at $40 each. It went on sale in the US on 5 October 2026 on tomfordbeauty.com, where it is listed as new.

What's New

The Runway Eye Color Stylo joins TOM FORD's Runway line alongside the Runway Lip Stylo Matte ($55 on tomfordbeauty.com). TOM FORD describes it as "a shimmer-packed pencil-stylo as much as it is a crème shadow." According to the brand, it can be used to draw a defining line along the lash line or smudged out across the lid for an all-over wash of what it calls "jewel-like color."

What the Brand Says

According to TOM FORD, the formula:

  • Doesn't crease and is long-wearing
  • Has a lightweight, creamy texture that glides on and blends out
  • Delivers richly pigmented colour in one stroke
  • Uses multi-reflecting pearls for a multi-dimensional finish

The ingredient list on the product page opens with calcium sodium borosilicate, a common base for shimmer pigments, followed by silicones and waxes, including carnauba wax. Mica, iron oxides, bronze powder and copper powder appear in the shade-dependent colourant list.

Shades

The brand describes the 10 shades as follows:

  1. 101 Honey Veil: softly golden, champagne shimmer
  2. 102 Antique Blush: pink shimmer with a satiny, old Hollywood charm
  3. 103 Rose Applique: rose gold, iridescent shimmer
  4. 104 Gold Dust: rich gold shimmer
  5. 105 Olive Haze: golden green shimmer
  6. 106 Violet Drape: twilight-purple shimmer
  7. 107 Burnished Bronze: neutral, midtone brown shimmer
  8. 108 Burnt Copper: red bronze shimmer
  9. 109 Smoke Mirage: smoky grey shimmer with a foil-like finish
  10. 110 Diamond Filigree: silver shimmer

The range covers champagne, gold, bronze and copper neutrals, plus grey and silver for smoky looks. Olive Haze and Violet Drape are the two colour-led options.

How to Use It

TOM FORD suggests these application methods:

  • Single shade: Apply the stick directly to the eyelid, then blend with your fingers or a TOM FORD brush.
  • Layered: Lay down a neutral shade as a base, then add a second shade on top for contrast.
  • With powder: Apply the stick over a TOM FORD Runway Eye Color Quad to add definition and highlights to a smoky eye.

For a liner effect, draw along the lash line and leave the edge sharp. For a softer look, smudge it outward before it sets.

Where to Buy

  • US: TOM FORD Beauty ($40)
  • UK: Not yet confirmed
  • International: Not yet confirmed
