Urban Decay has launched Chrome Melts High-Pigment Metallic Eyeshadow, a single chrome eyeshadow in five shades priced at $26 each in the US. It is on sale now at Ulta Beauty and online only at Sephora as of October 2026.

According to Urban Decay, Chrome Melts uses freeze-dried technology, described on the Sephora listing as a "liquid-to-frozen cryo-extraction process." The brand says this locks in emollient-coated pigments for a buttery feel, easy pickup and richer colour payoff.

Urban Decay describes the result as an "explosive multi-dimensional chromatic finish" with a silky, blendable texture that "melts onto lids." The campaign images call it "our most multi-dimensional eyeshadow" and "our most buttery formula yet."
