What Does the Dewy Setting Spray Do?

Urban Decay says the mist locks makeup in place for up to 16 hours and gives a glowy finish. It is infused with hyaluronic acid and watermelon extract for instant hydration and a fresh scent. The waterproof formula resists smudging, sweating and transferring, and a micro-mist gives a smooth, even application. It is meant to prevent cracking, fading and flaking while enhancing makeup vibrancy.

How Is It Different From the Original All Nighter?

Urban Decay sells several All Nighter sprays, including the original waterproof spray, a matte version and this dewy version. Our take: the dewy one is the pick if you like a luminous finish, and the matte version may be a better match for oily skin.

Has the Name Changed?

Urban Decay's page for this spray currently reads "All Nighter Glow Waterproof Setting Spray," so the product may have been renamed since our April 2024 post. Search results show sizes of 4.0 fl oz (118 mL) and a 1.0 fl oz (30 mL) travel size. We couldn't open the page to confirm the details.

Is It Worth $36?

Our take: $36 is more than three times the price of e.l.f.'s $11 spray. For a cheaper dewy option, see our e.l.f. Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray guide: an $11 bi-phase spray rated 4.7 stars from 14,389 reviews on e.l.f.'s site. We haven't compared the two for wear time, and Urban Decay's 16-hour claim is a brand claim, not our test result.

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?

Confirmed: the April 2024 claims (16-hour wear, ingredients, waterproof formula) and the $36 price come from Urban Decay's announcement.

Not confirmed: whether the current product is the same formula, its ratings, and current stock. Urban Decay's site returned an access error when we tried to open it.

September 21, 2026 update: we couldn't re-check the product page. A search result for urbandecay.com listed the spray at $36.
