Makeup By Mario's Holiday 2026 Value Sets are five gift sets: a complexion duo, brush trio, cream shadow duo, lip pencil trio and The Ethereal Duo. Prices run from $30 to $79 (US), and Makeup By Mario also sells a $20 (US) mini setting spray. The first four sets went on sale on 25 September 2026 in the Sephora app and on 26 September 2026 on all other platforms.

Updated 1 November 2026: The Ethereal Duo ($79, US) and the Mini SurrealSkin Soft Setting Spray ($20, US) are new to this post. Both are in stock at Makeup By Mario's store. Sephora lists the original four sets as limited edition, so stock can change quickly.

Release Date

The original four Holiday 2026 Value Sets launched on 25 September 2026 in the Sephora app and on 26 September 2026 on all other platforms.

The Ethereal Duo: 1 November 2026 (first listed on makeupbymario.com; official launch date not announced).

No launch date has been confirmed for the mini spray. Makeup By Mario's store showed it in stock on 1 November 2026.

Prices

US prices are listed below, and four of the five sets have a stated value if bought separately. UK and European prices have not yet been announced.

• Mini Ultra Suede Sculpting Lip Pencil Trio Gift Set: $30. Buying the pencils one by one would cost $64, so the set is $34 less, more than half off.
• Mini Blush Veil & Skin Enhancer Duo: $32. No separate-purchase value is stated.
• Long-Wearing Cream Eyeshadow Duo Gift Set: $35. Buying the shadows one by one would cost $50, so the set is $15 less.
• The Ethereal Duo: $79, with $95 crossed out on the brand's store. Buying the items one by one would cost $95 ($69 palette + $26 E6 brush), so the set is $16 less.
• Mario's Face and Eye Trio Cosmetic Brush Set: $79. Buying the brushes one by one would cost $122, so the set is $43 less, the largest dollar difference in the collection.

The Ethereal Duo

The Ethereal Duo pairs the E6 Dual-Ended Eyeshadow Brush with one of three Ethereal Eyes Eyeshadow Palettes:

The store's photos show each 12-pan palette next to the brush. The palettes are also sold singly at $69 each (US). The Ethereal Duo and the brush trio both cost $79 and both include the E6 brush, but only the brush trio includes face brushes.

Mini SurrealSkin Soft Setting Spray

The Mini SurrealSkin Soft Setting Spray is a 50 ml size of an existing spray, priced at $20 (US). The full size is 100 ml and $36 (US). According to the brand, the ultra-fine, hydrating, waterproof formula locks makeup for up to 16 hours and is free of alcohol, fragrance and butane. Mini Blush Veil & Skin Enhancer Duo pairs the hyaluronic acid-infused Soft Pop Plumping Cream Blush Veil with SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer, a multitasking cream bronzer. The blush is the same formula covered in our Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Plumping Blush Veil New Shades 2024 post, and the bronzer shares its SoftSculpt line with the Makeup By Mario Softsculpt Bronzing & Shaping Serum. What Makes the Makeup By Mario Holiday 2026 Value Sets Different?

• The five sets cover complexion, brushes, cream eyeshadow, an eyeshadow palette and lip pencils.
• Four of the five sets list a value if bought separately that is higher than the set price, with a gap of $15 to $43 (US).

Formula and Packaging

• Complexion duo: According to Makeup By Mario, the blush and bronzer together give a hydrated, plumped, dewy flush plus warmth and subtle contour.
• Brushes: The brand lists vegan synthetic fibers and 100% FSC-certified birchwood handles in matte black, with a nylon travel case.
• Cream shadows: The brand says both formulas are lightweight, crease-resistant, and sweat-, humidity- and water-resistant. According to Makeup By Mario, Mauve can be swept across the lid and outer corner, then Pink Pearl pressed onto the center of the lid and inner corner.

In July 2024, MAKEUP BY MARIO added four brighter shades to its Soft Pop Plumping Blush Veil, a sheer cream blush with hyaluronic acid. They went on sale July 9, 2024 at Sephora and makeupbymario.com. Here's a shade-by-shade look at the additions and what has changed since.

What Are the Four New Shades?

The shade descriptions after each name are MAKEUP BY MARIO's. The notes after them are our read of the official swatches, not something we've tested.

• Pink Peony: soft blue pink. The easiest of the four for fair to light skin that wants a cool, natural flush.
• Paradise Pink: vibrant blue pink. The boldest cool option. Sheer it out with a fingertip if you're wary of bright pinks.
• Strawberry Sunset: cherry pink. A red-leaning pink. The launch imagery shows it as a warm, juicy flush on deeper skin.
• Papaya Pop: bright peachy orange. The only warm, orange-leaning shade of the four, and the most summery.

The official arm swatches show all four holding their color on deep skin, which sheer cream blushes don't always manage.

How Does It Compare to the Original Shades?

The range now has ten shades. The launch-era shades are Pinch Me Pink (pale pink), Barely Blushing (natural flush), Just Peachy (peachy coral), Perfect Pink (cool pink), Rose Crush (spiced rose) and Berry Punch (soft plum). The 2024 four push the range brighter. Before them, the line leaned toward soft, everyday tones.

What Is the Formula Like?

MAKEUP BY MARIO describes it as a "weightless cream blush balm made with hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump skin with a sheer veil of color". The brand says pearlescent pigments give a luminous, dewy finish that suits a no-makeup look.

Our take: "plumping" here means skin looks bouncier because it's hydrated, not that it changes shape. Expect a sheer, buildable wash of color rather than full opacity.

What Has Changed Since Launch?

Confirmed: the price on MAKEUP BY MARIO's site is now $34, up from $30 when these shades launched. All four 2024 shades are still listed.

Can you use Soft Pop Blush Veil on lips? The brand markets it as a cheek product. Using it on lips is your call.
