Athena Club Bare Gold is a new marshmallow, vanilla and sandalwood scent in a body lotion and a hair and body mist, created with Paul Reacts. The range includes the Skin Perfecting Body Lotion ($12), Hair & Body Mist ($16), Mini Hair & Body Mist ($10) and a Lotion and Mist Duo ($26). It went on sale at athenaclub.com on 27 October 2026, and Athena Club says it is also in Target stores.

Release Date

Athena Club announced the date in Instagram posts on 20 and 25 October 2026 ("Available 10.27"). Bare Gold and the brand's holiday collection then launched at athenaclub.com on Tuesday, 27 October 2026. According to the brand, the collaboration took about nine months. It started with Paul Reacts' search for the perfect marshmallow scent and an Instagram Story in which he asked who wanted to make one with him. Athena Club calls him "the gourmand king."

What Makes the Athena Club Bare Gold Different?

  • It was developed with a creator, Paul Reacts, over a period the brand puts at about nine months.
  • Its official pyramid centres on marshmallow fluff and white chocolate over sandalwood. Athena Club's bestselling Golden Vanilla is built around vanilla.
  • It comes with a mini mist, and the Scent Stack bundle pairs Bare Gold with Golden Vanilla.

Formula and Packaging

  • Skin Perfecting Body Lotion: According to Athena Club, it contains four types of hyaluronic acid, five ceramides, six nourishing oils and butters, niacinamide and peptides. The brand says it gives 24-hour moisture, is dermatologist tested and is suitable for sensitive skin. It comes in a 16 fl oz bottle.
  • Hair & Body Mist: Athena Club says it is made with 5% fine fragrance oil, which it calls "nearly double the industry standard." Other hair and body mists launched this season include the Orebella Vanilla's Touch Body & Hair Perfume Mist and the PLAYA Triptease All-Over Perfume Mist.
  • Mini Hair & Body Mist: The brand says it is TSA-approved. It comes in a cloud-shaped bottle with a soft-touch loop that clips to a bag.

Athena Club suggests applying the lotion first to hydrate and lightly scent the skin, then layering the mist to extend the fragrance.

Up Close and Sweet Talk: The Other Holiday 2026 Scents

Athena Club launched two more holiday scents on the same day, each priced at $12 for the lotion, $16 for the mist and $26 for the duo:

  • Up Close: black cherry, crushed violet, plum, cotton candy, vanilla cream, smoked amber and velvet musk.
  • Sweet Talk: berries, iris, cardamom, vanilla, cashmere and golden amber. Its lotion has a subtle shimmer.
