What Shades Does Glow Reviver Lip Oil Come In?
These seven launch shades are still sold: Honey Talks (beige brown), Coral Fixation (sheer coral), Rose Envy (rosewood), Crystal Clear, Jam Session (black cherry), Pink Quartz (sheer light pink) and Red Delicious (red). e.l.f. has since added Money Mauve (mauve), It's Giving Guava (peachy pink) and Hot as Fudge (rich brown).
What Is in the Formula?
e.l.f. lists five key ingredients: squalane, apricot oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil and pomegranate oil. The formula is non-sticky, has a fresh minty scent and gives a high-gloss finish.
Our take: that oil blend is what you'd expect from a comfort-first lip oil. The mint is for fragrance. e.l.f. doesn't market this as a plumper.
What's Special About the Applicator?
e.l.f. calls it an "ultra-plush, XXL" cushion applicator: an oversized, flexible doe foot that hugs the lips so you can cover them in a swipe or two. e.l.f. suggests starting at the center of your lips and working outward.
Can You Wear It Over Lipstick?
Yes. e.l.f. says it can be worn on its own or over lipstick. A clear or sheer shade over a matte lipstick gives a glossy top coat without a sticky gloss.
