House of Bō hasn't published a top, heart and base pyramid for either fragrance. The brand names only vanilla as the core of both scents:

Both perfumes are built around vanilla. Black Gala takes it in an amber gourmand direction, and White Gala in a musky gourmand one. On TikTok, House of Bō describes the pair as "Two sides. What Makes the House of Bō Gala Perfumes Different?
- Two vanilla expressions: the brand built one amber gourmand and one musky gourmand from the same vanilla DNA.
- Hand-carved stone caps: each cap is a half-disc of polychrome jasper, and the brand says no two stones are exactly alike.
- Coloured charms: the gold eye charm, with a black or white centre, is what tells the two bottles apart.
Bottle and Packaging
- Black Gala: a rectangular bottle of thick clear glass holds a pale golden juice. It has a gold base block printed "BŌ ĞÅLĀ PARFUM", a rounded golden collar and a dark jasper cap. House of Bō associates the stone with "authenticity and creativity."
