New Makeup Releases: Release Dates, Shades & Prices

The YOU Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is a 26-product calendar of skincare, make-up, hair, body, nail and home fragrance picks, 14 of them full size. It costs £115 from YOU Magazine's own store, YOU Beauty Shop, and officially launched on 4 October 2026. Inside are eight make-up and nail products, ten skincare products, two haircare products, five body care products and one candle, from brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Lisa Eldridge, VIEVE and Sunday Riley. It is one of this season's UK beauty advent calendars.

Release Date

Pre-orders for the YOU Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 opened on 21 September 2026, and the official launch followed on 4 October 2026. YOU Beauty Shop began dispatching orders from 5 October 2026. The shop estimates delivery at 7–10 days in the UK by Royal Mail and 10–14 days to the EU by tracked Parcelhub delivery.

Price

The calendar costs £115 in the UK. YOU Beauty puts the value of the contents, if bought separately, at over £635. EU orders are shown and charged in the shopper's local currency at checkout. Because orders ship from the UK, customs duties or import charges may apply.

Orders placed by 23:59 BST on 18 October 2026 are entered automatically into a draw for 1 of 27 luxury prizes from brands including MZ Skin and Shark Beauty. The draw is open to legal residents of Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 and over, and terms apply.

• The YOU Magazine Beauty Team selected the contents. That puts it alongside the Latest in Beauty x Stylist Beauty Advent Calendar 2026, another UK magazine-partnered calendar.
• It covers six categories: skincare, make-up, haircare, body care, nails and home fragrance. Personal fragrance is not included; the only scented product is the Jo Loves candle.

bareMinerals Original Mineral Veil Daily Dose Setting Powder is a talc-free loose setting powder in a press-to-dose jar, offered in four sheer shades. It costs $36 in the US and £34 in the UK, and it first appeared on bareminerals.com on 10 July 2026. It joins the existing powders in bareMinerals' Mineral Veil range, which also includes the bareMinerals Mineral Veil Set + Protect Brush SPF 25 PA++.

When Did the bareMinerals Original Mineral Veil Daily Dose Setting Powder Launch?

bareMinerals hasn't announced an official release date. The powder was dated at these points:

• Dispenser: A button releases a measured amount of loose powder into the closed cap. PBL Magazine notes this gives more control over how much is dispensed and cuts down on mess and product waste.
• Formula: It is the only matte, vitamin- and mineral-infused powder on bareMinerals' own Mineral Veil comparison chart.
• Shade range: It comes in four shades, including a brightening option, compared with one or two for the loose Mineral Veil powders.

bareMinerals' how-to visual labels the steps "Click. Swirl. Sweep."; its product page calls them "Press. Swirl. Sweep.":

1. Press the button to dispense powder into the cap, then twist the cap open.
2. Swirl the Supreme Finisher Brush in the cap to pick up powder.
3. Sweep it lightly over the face, focusing on shine-prone areas.

Murad Retinal ReSculpt Neck & Décolleté Lifting Serum is a 1.0 fl oz targeted retinal serum for the neck and chest, part of Murad's Resurgence line. It costs $109 (US) and first appeared on murad.com on 16 September 2026. NewBeauty included it in its list of October 2026 beauty launches. Find more launches in our skincare section.

When Did the Murad Retinal ReSculpt Neck & Décolleté Lifting Serum Launch?

Murad hasn't announced an official release date. Murad's store data shows the serum went live on murad.com on 16 September 2026. The Retinal ReSculpt Firming Hand Treatment went live the same day. NewBeauty then listed the neck serum among its best new beauty products for October 2026.

Price

The serum is $109 (US) on murad.com. This is the only confirmed price. Murad notes that this item does not qualify for additional discounts or promotional offers. UK and other regional prices have not yet been announced.

What's New in the Retinal ReSculpt Lineup

The neck serum joins other Retinal ReSculpt treatments, each for a different area. Murad's own images present the neck serum, body treatment and hand treatment as "Targeted solutions for every area of concern."

The Body Treatment has been on murad.com since December 2024. A mini of the face version appeared in the Dermstore BeautyFIX Skin Reset Season box.

What Makes the Retinal ReSculpt Neck & Décolleté Lifting Serum Different?

• Built for the neck and chest. NewBeauty frames it this way: the neck and chest age differently from the face. Murad says these areas have less structural support than facial skin and move constantly.
• Encapsulated retinal. Murad says its encapsulated retinal is 2.5 times more effective than free retinal. It also says the delivery is designed to minimise irritation.
• Released with a hand treatment. The Retinal ReSculpt Firming Hand Treatment ($55) went live on murad.com the same day.

Formula and Packaging

• Encapsulated retinal: according to Murad, it smooths crepiness, improves firmness and helps improve uneven tone.
• Lift & Contour Complex: this is powered by Kangaroo Paw Flower extract. The brand says it visibly lifts and firms, and that its antioxidant properties help protect skin's natural collagen.
• Hydration Complex: Murad says it delivers immediate and lasting hydration.
• Free-from claims: Murad lists the formula as made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates and gluten. Fragrance (parfum) appears in its ingredient list.
• Packaging: a 1.0 fl oz (30 ml) green pump bottle marked "Resurgence."

What the Brand Says About Results

According to Murad, a clinical evaluation found the serum visibly lifts, firms and smooths the neck and décolleté in 2 weeks. The same evaluation found it improves the appearance of sagging in 8 weeks. That study had 29–32 subjects over 8 weeks.

Murad also ran a consumer perception study with 32 subjects over 8 weeks:

• 93% said skin felt smoother and softer.
• 90% saw improved texture on the neck and chest.
• 81% said neck and chest lines appeared less visible, a figure NewBeauty also reported.

Murad's images include two unretouched before-and-after neck photos, taken at 2 weeks and 8 weeks.

How to Use

NewBeauty describes it as a nighttime serum for the neck and chest. Murad's page says to apply it to clean skin on the neck and décolleté and to follow with a moisturiser. It also advises reducing how often you use it if sensitivity occurs.

Dior's Mattifying Invisible UV Stick SPF 50 is a 10 g face sunscreen stick with four UV filters, hyaluronic acid and a blurring powder for a matte finish. It costs $65 in the US, £55 in the UK and €65 in France and Germany, and it is sold through Dior's own sites, Ulta Beauty, Sephora US and Selfridges. Dior launched it in May 2026 alongside the Hydrating Invisible UV Fluid as a daily UV duo.

When Did the Dior Mattifying Invisible UV Stick Launch?

Dior hasn't published a single global release date for the stick. Pink Item reported that the stick and the UV Fluid would go on sale on Dior's official online boutique in Japan on 8 May 2026. Jennifer Loves Couture covered the stick as a new launch on 15 May 2026. As of October 2026, Dior US still labels it "New."

What Makes the Dior Mattifying Invisible UV Stick Different?

• Format: it is a solid stick. Dior designed it for reapplication over makeup, while the UV Fluid is the full-face morning layer.
• Finish: according to Dior, it gives a matte, bare-skin finish with no white cast on any skin tone. Its blurring powder is meant to reduce the visibility of pores.
• Labelling: the US version is a drug product labelled Broad Spectrum SPF 50. The UK and EU versions carry SPF 50 PA++++.

Both products offer SPF 50 protection with an invisible finish. BeautyScene reports that the Fluid uses five UV filters, while the Stick uses four.

Formula and Packaging

• Dior Mattifying Invisible UV Stick:

- Active ingredients (US): avobenzone 2.97%, homosalate 7.30%, octisalate 1.00% and octocrylene 9.00%.

- Other ingredients: sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), saccharomyces ferment, tocopheryl acetate and fragrance (parfum).

- Brand claims: Dior says the formula provides antioxidant action, reinforces the skin barrier, mattifies and visibly refines skin texture.

- Packaging: product images show a white case embossed with the Dior Oblique motif and a peach-tinted bullet.

How to Use

Dior's directions are to apply the stick generously each day after skincare, avoiding the eye area. Reapply every two hours as a touch-up, even over makeup. Dior's suggested routine is the UV Fluid in the morning, the UV Stick during the day and La Mousse OFF/ON Foaming Cleanser in the evening.

Dior Capture Hyalushot Advanced is a 15 ml wrinkle corrector with three forms of hyaluronic acid, a peptide and 3D fibres, targeting nine wrinkle types. Dior launched it in August 2026 as the next generation of its Hyalushot treatment. It costs $109 in the US, £72 in the UK and €98 in France and Germany, at Dior, Ulta Beauty and Selfridges.

It launched alongside the Dior Capture PDRN-Shot, a radiance treatment based on rice-derived phyto-PDRN.

Release Date

Dior introduced Hyalushot Advanced in August 2026, together with Dior Capture PDRN-Shot. Dior hasn't confirmed an exact day. Both products extend the Dior Capture precision treatments that Dior has been adding since 2024.

What's New

Dior describes Hyalushot Advanced as a "high-precision intensive corrector" inspired by dermo-aesthetic procedures. It is a different product from the earlier Dior Capture Totale Hyalushot, which launched in December 2023. According to launch coverage (Away In Style), the new formula uses a smaller-molecule pure hyaluronic acid that targets aquaporin-3, and both new Capture treatments are powered by Dior's OX-C Treatment technology.

Both are Dior Capture wrinkle treatments. The Advanced version adds the patented [POLY H.A] technology and a 3D-fibre texture.

What Makes the Dior Capture Hyalushot Advanced Different?

• Applicator: a needle-style precision tip that Dior says is 200x more targeted than a fingertip, based on the ratio of finger surface to applicator surface.
• Nine wrinkle types named: forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crow's feet, under-eye wrinkles, bunny lines, cheek folds, nasolabial folds, lip wrinkles and marionette lines.
• Positioning in Dior Capture: Dior calls Hyalushot Advanced the wrinkle corrector, PDRN-Shot the radiance reviver, and RetiShot (H.P. Retinol) the skin-quality renewer.

Formula and Packaging

• Hyaluronic acid trio: According to Dior, [POLY H.A] combines three forms of hyaluronic acid. MACRO is larger and cross-linked to protect against moisture loss, MICRO acts deeper in the epidermis, and PURE is the smallest form. The patent pending is FR3130156.
• Supporting ingredients:

- acetyl hexapeptide-8, the booster peptide

- a protective polysaccharide

- Lilium candidum bulb extract, which Dior says strengthens the skin barrier

- adenosine, betaine and glycerin

• Texture: 3D fibres and pearlescent particles that, the brand says, visibly fill hollows and blur shadowy zones.
• Packaging: a silver tube. Dior's campaign images show models Estelle and Maty applying it to forehead lines and cheek folds.

What Dior Says About Results

According to Dior:

• Wrinkles are 30% less visible after 2 hours (instrumental test, 30 subjects).
• The visible age of established wrinkles drops by 3 years in 1 month (dermatologist evaluation and modelling, 30 subjects).
• Paired with Dior Capture Le Sérum, skin is visibly 50% smoother after 1 month (dermatologist evaluation, 30 subjects).

How to Use

Smashbox O-Gloss pH Plumping Lip Gloss is the relaunched cult pH-reactive gloss that goes on clear and shifts to a personalised shade of pink. Smashbox brought it back on 27 September 2026 for $26 (US), and it is sold through Smashbox, Ulta Beauty and Macy's. The original was discontinued years ago, and NewBeauty reports that old tubes have circulated on eBay for hundreds of dollars.

Release Date

According to NewBeauty, O-Gloss returned on 27 September 2026 as one of five Smashbox lip launches that month. Ulta Beauty currently lists it under New.

The O-Gloss pH Plumping Lip Gloss costs $26 (US) at Smashbox and Ulta Beauty. No UK, Canadian or European price has been confirmed.

Shades

There is one shade, pH Pink. Smashbox says the gloss uses pH-activated pigments that react to the wearer's skin chemistry, turning from clear to "your unique shade of pink". Smashbox's images show a before-and-after comparison of the gloss going on clear and turning pink, plus a grid of the shade on lips across several skin tones.

What Makes the O-Gloss pH Plumping Lip Gloss Different?

• It changes colour on the lips: it goes on clear and turns into a wearer-specific pink through pH-activated pigments, according to Smashbox.
• It's a revival of a discontinued original: Michelle Shigemasa, global general manager of Smashbox, told NewBeauty the brand is "bringing back an actual icon ... we're introducing an icon to a new generation."
• It has new formula claims: the relaunch adds 6-hour high shine, visible plumping, long-lasting hydration and vitamins C + E, according to Smashbox.

Both versions share the clear-to-pink pH effect. The relaunch adds the plumping, hydration and shine claims. Lori Taylor Davis, Smashbox global pro lead artist, told NewBeauty she remembers the original's "Wait…what is happening?" moment when a clear gloss turned pink on the lips.

It notes that the plumping effect has no specific wear time, and the 6-hour figure refers to shine.

How to Use

Smashbox says to apply O-Gloss to bare lips or over lip liner, then wait a few seconds for the colour to develop. The brand suggests pairing it with its Studio Extreme Longwear Lip Liner.

The Rest of Smashbox's September Lip Lineup

According to NewBeauty, four other Smashbox lip products are part of the same launch wave. The O-Noir pH Cheek + Lip Tint ($25) goes on black and shifts to a personalised berry, and it is a tint rather than a clear-to-pink gloss. The pH Gel Lip Liner ($22) launched alongside it. Earlier in September, Smashbox released the Full Fill-ter Smoothing Lip Glass Balm ($25) and the Studio Extreme Longwear Lip Liner ($25), each in six nude shades.

rom&nd's Dear Bestie 10th Anniversary collection is a limited release of three new Juicy Lasting Tint shades, a 20-shade eyeshadow palette and a boxed set. The tints cost ¥1,320 each, the BETTER THAN PALETTE Bestie Edition costs ¥5,500, and the 10th ANNIVERSARY MEGA EDITION costs ¥9,790 (Japan, tax included). The collection went on sale on 10 October 2026 at rom&nd's Tokyo pop-up at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando "Omokado", and the tints reach rom&nd's offline stores across Japan the same day. The K-beauty brand is marking ten years since creator Min Saerom launched it in Korea in September 2016.

Updated 10 October 2026: The palette and Mega Edition prices are now confirmed. The pop-up is open, and the tints are rolling out to rom&nd's offline stores across Japan from today. Because the collection is limited edition, stock can change quickly.

Release Date

The collection launched on 10 October 2026. On that day, the "Dear, Bestie 10th rom&nd birthday party" pop-up opens and the tints start rolling out to rom&nd's offline stores in Japan, store by store. All three items were first available at the pop-up's press day on 9 October 2026. Every item is limited in quantity and is sold until it runs out.

The Omotesando Pop-Up

The pop-up runs from 10 to 28 October 2026 in the third-floor pop-up space at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando "Omokado". It is open 11:00–20:00, and entry is free. Inside, visitors find:

• a history exhibit covering the brand's ten years
• birthday-party displays and photo zones
• a tester zone sorted by rom&nd's WARM, COOL and MUTE tones
• purchase gifts and a lucky draw

Entry:

• 11:00–16:00: advance reservation required. Book a date, time slot and party size through rom&nd Japan's reservation page. Bookings close on 18 October 2026 at 23:59.
• 16:00–20:00: register for the walk-in queue at the entrance on the day.
• Plan for about 30 minutes per visit.
• The brand asks visitors not to queue around the venue the night before or early in the morning.

Purchase gifts: Hancosme's pop-up guide lists these gifts:

• Spend ¥2,500 or more: a cake hair pin (10–18 October 2026) or a cake bookmark (19–28 October 2026; 2 designs, random).
• Spend ¥5,500 or more: buy the Big Pouch at a special ¥990 (usually ¥2,500).
• Reservation holders: a separate gift, limited to 100 people per day.

Receipt Campaign

Shoppers in Japan can enter a receipt campaign until 28 October 2026:

Disney's A Very Mickey Christmas x ColourPop Collection is a limited-edition holiday makeup line of nine Mickey and Minnie Mouse products for eyes, lips and face. Individual pieces cost $8 to $25 (US), and the full collection costs $125 with a free Gift Tag Sticker Sheet. The collection went on sale at colourpop.com on 8 October 2026 at 12pm CST.

The Disney collection launched a week after the ColourPop Super Stain Peel-Off Lip Stain & Gloss Duo, ColourPop's first peel-off lip stain and gloss duo, which went on sale on 1 October 2026.

When Did the Ciele Holiday 2026 Gift Sets Launch?

Ciele hasn't announced an official release date. Blush & Cheer went on sale in the Sephora app on 8 October 2026 and on Sephora's other platforms on 9 October 2026. All three sets appeared on cielecosmetics.com on 9 October 2026, which we observed. A repost account on Instagram shared the sets as "available now."

Each set has a sale price and a separate ciele value figure:

• The Winter Wardrobe: costs $38. Value if bought separately: $51 (ciele's figure).
• Blush & Cheer: costs $35. Value if bought separately: $50 (ciele's and Sephora's figure).
