Dior DiOriginals: A 13-Fragrance Collection Spanning Nearly 80 Years of Perfumery

Dior is launching DiOriginals on 1 October 2026, a 13-fragrance collection that restores scents from the House's archives spanning 1949 to 2003. The project is led by Dior's Perfume Creation Director Francis Kurkdjian and has been four years in the making.

The Concept: Reconstruction, Not Reproduction

According to Dior, Kurkdjian has not simply reissued the most recent reformulated versions of these perfumes. Instead, he spent four years reconstructing each scent from Dior's archives, working to bring them as close as possible to their original olfactory character and formula, with a contemporary refinement.

Kurkdjian said he used "new technologies that made it possible to recover their original formulas and restore the perfect harmony of their compositions." The collection also revives the iconic ovale perfume bottle, first created in 1949, with a modern twist that ties the range together visually.

The In-Store Line-Up

Six of the 13 scents are expected to be widely available in boutiques:

• Diorissimo (1956) — a floral built around jasmine and lily of the valley, reworked with a new texture.
• Forever and Ever Dior (2002) — a musky floral reminiscent of springtime blooms.
• Dune (1991) — a light amber floral citrus.
• Dune Homme (1997) — a citrus green woody scent with mandarin and green figs.
• Higher (2001) — a fresh aromatic woody blend of rosemary, cardamom and cedar over lemon and basil.
• Higher Energy (2003) — a fresh spicy woody fragrance featuring grapefruit and absantiss accords.

The Online-Exclusive Seven

The remaining seven fragrances are slated to launch as online exclusives, though distribution may vary by country. These are deep archival scents that haven't been widely available for decades:

What the Brand Says

Kurkdjian has grouped the restorations into two periods. The first, "Dior in Grasse", honours the work of Edmond Roudnitska and Paul Vacher, and includes Diorama, Eau Fraîche, Diorissimo and Diorling. The second, "Dior in Paris", covers scents from 1979 to 2003, including Dioressence, Jules, Dune, Dolce Vita and the Higher range.

"A perfume should be cherished and looked after like a fragile work of art that is subject to the vagaries of time," Kurkdjian said. "In the same way that luster and colour are restored to a painting, so must the quality, shine and nuance of raw materials be upheld in a fragrance."

On Eau Fraîche, Kurkdjian said he worked to "elevate all the qualities of the citrus fruits (bergamot, lemon, mandarin, orange)" and re-blended its signature aromatic basil-tarragon note, which had been under threat owing to regulations. For Diorissimo, he restored the "white lily of the valley" floral accord using a new quality of jasmine. For Jules, the new version includes readjustments to its spice notes and mosses.

Fenty Skin Lil Miss Wonderful is a floral gourmand scent of candied apple, peony and purple freesia, sold as a Butta Drop Body Milk and Allover Body Mist. The two products are sold separately, not as a boxed set: the Butta Drop Hydrating Body Milk costs $36 (US) and the Allover Body Mist $35 (US) full size or $20 (US) mini. Both went on sale on 25 September 2026 at fentybeauty.com and Ulta Beauty.

Release Date

Butta Drop Hydrating Body Milk ($36)

This is a lightweight version of Fenty Skin's Butta Drop body cream. According to Fenty Skin, the milky texture absorbs quickly and leaves a satin finish that is "never sticky or heavy." It is Fenty Skin's second recent body-and-face hydration launch after the Fenty Skin Quench Kit at Sephora, a $45 set of hydrating minis.

Allover Body Mist ($35 full / $20 mini)

The mist comes in a 175 mL standard size and a 75 mL mini. Fenty describes the Allover Body Mist line as "layered, unexpected scents" to switch with the wearer's mood. On Fenty's Allover Body Mist page, Lil Miss Wonderful is listed alongside Tropic Trip, Green Raspberry, Vanilla Flowers and Hey, Bouquet.

What Makes the Pixi Beauty LiquidGlow Blush Different?

• It is a serum-texture tint that Pixi designed for both cheeks and lips.
• It comes with an oversized doe-foot applicator, and Pixi says it can be blended with fingers, a brush or a damp sponge.
• It is sold as a single tint or as a trio of shades the buyer chooses.

Formula and Key Ingredients

According to Pixi Beauty, LiquidGlow Blush is a weightless, skincare-first formula with a breathable, second-skin feel. The brand says it blends from a sheer tint to a fresh, dewy flush.

Pixi describes it as bringing its "iconic On-the-Glow effect" to a serum tint. The same On-the-Glow name appears on the brand's Pixi Beauty On-the-Glow SuperGlow Highlight Moisture Stick.

Pixi highlights three ingredients:

• Marshmallow Root Extract — the brand says it helps soothe, soften and comfort skin
• Squalane — according to Pixi, it helps support the skin's moisture barrier and maintain a smooth, supple feel
• Calendula Flower Extract — the brand says it helps soothe, nourish and condition skin

Pixi says the formula uses radiance pigments for a softly luminous effect rather than chunky glitter, and that the visible radiance may vary slightly by shade. The brand also says it can be worn across skin types. It suggests applying over hydrated skin if your skin is dry, and using thin layers if it is oily. For sensitive skin, Pixi advises reviewing the full ingredient list and patch testing first.

For a lip-only tint from the same brand, Pixi previously released the Pixi Beauty +Hydra LipTreat tinted balms.

How to Use

Pixi's directions are to dot one or two small drops onto one cheek with the doe-foot applicator, tap it in, and blend before moving to the other cheek, adding thin layers for more colour. On lips, the brand suggests tapping on a small amount for a soft tint and layering for richer colour. Pixi also suggests using the same shade on cheeks and lips for a monochromatic look.

Lawless Beauty released its limited-edition Cinnamon Sugar Lip Duo on 25 September 2026 at Sephora and lawlessbeauty.com, according to the brand. The $33 set pairs a full-size Forget The Filler plumping gloss in Buns with a full-size Overnight Lip-Plumping Mask in Cinnamon Sugar. The box prints a $48 value.

What is in the Cinnamon Sugar Lip Duo?

• Gloss in Buns: a warm rosy cinnamon with a pearl finish and a cinnamon sugar flavor.
• Overnight Mask in Cinnamon Sugar: a warm cinnamon shade with the same flavor. Lawless suggests plumping with Buns first, then using the mask for softer, fuller lips.

The brand says the mask carries 50% more Maxi-Lip and 1200% more shea butter than the gloss. It also contains ceramides and hyaluronic acid for overnight conditioning, and the duo lists rosehip oil for softness.
