Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Extase and Scandal Pour Homme Extase are a new fruity amber Eau de Parfum duo in the Scandal line, announced in September 2026. The women's scent is built on apricot, benzoin and patchouli, the men's on mandarin, caramel and musks.

Status: Announced, not yet on sale. Price, release date and markets haven't been confirmed, and details may change.

According to Olfastory, the pair was announced on 24 September 2026 and the notes were published in early October 2026.

Updated 15 October 2026: no listing at jeanpaulgaultier.com, and the main perfume retailers don't list either fragrance.

Jean Paul Gaultier's other new release is the Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male & Divine Collector Edition 2026, a set of collector bottles for two of its other lines.

When Will the Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Extase Duo Launch?

Jean Paul Gaultier hasn't announced an official release date. Olfastory dates the announcement of both fragrances to 24 September 2026 and the publication of their notes to early October 2026. Mallorca Duty Free has published product copy for Scandal Extase, which suggests travel retail may be among the first channels to carry it. No date has been confirmed for any market.

Jean Paul Gaultier hasn't published a note pyramid on its own site. Olfastory and ScentAdvice each list three notes per fragrance, one per tier.

What Does Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Extase Smell Like?

Based on the listed notes, Scandal Extase opens on apricot, moves into resinous benzoin and settles on patchouli. Scandal Pour Homme Extase pairs citrus mandarin with a caramel heart and a musk base.

Mallorca Duty Free's product copy describes the women's perfume this way: "Welcome aboard the Ecstasy Express! Scandal Extase can't be explained, only felt. Vibrant, electrifying, intoxicating — it makes a powerful impression from the first moment. Apricot nectar leads the dance with its luscious, golden radiance, while benzoin and patchouli prolong the experience with a deeply addictive intensity."

Scandal Extase keeps the original Scandal's patchouli but drops its honey and gardenia. Pour Homme Extase replaces the original's clary sage, tonka bean and vetiver.

Bottles and Packaging

• Scandal Extase uses the faceted Scandal bottle with the gold legs-in-the-air cap. The glass is iridescent red-to-blue with a gold SCANDAL label, and the box is pink-red iridescent.
• Scandal Pour Homme Extase uses the square bottle with the gold crown cap. The glass is iridescent blue-purple-green, and the box is blue iridescent.
• Both boxes carry a gold "EXTASE" plaque. The campaign image shows the two bottles together on a dark teal-and-pink light-streak background.

• Three notes per fragrance: each scent lists only one note per tier, and Olfastory classes both as fruity ambers.
• Described as a limited edition: Mallorca Duty Free's copy ends "Scandal Extase, the most outrageous Jean Paul Gaultier limited edition yet." Jean Paul Gaultier hasn't confirmed this on its own site.

Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male Collector Edition Eau de Toilette and Gaultier Divine Collector Edition Eau de Parfum are tarot-themed holiday 2026 bottles. Both contain the original juices, so only the bottle and case change. In the UK, Notino sells the 125 ml Le Male for £128.00 and the 100 ml Divine for £156.00, and both were on sale by 15 October 2026. The two perfumes are sold separately, not as a boxed set.

Updated 15 October 2026: Both bottles are in stock at Notino UK and Notino PL. There is no confirmed US listing yet. Because these are limited editions, stock can change quickly.

When Did the Jean Paul Gaultier Collector Editions 2026 Launch?

Jean Paul Gaultier hasn't announced an official release date. ScentAdvice posted a first look on Instagram and lists both bottles as 2026 collector editions. By 15 October 2026, both were on sale and in stock at Notino UK and Notino PL. On that date, Jean Paul Gaultier's UK and France collector pages did not yet show them.

What Does Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male & Divine Collector Edition Smell Like?

Le Male opens with mint, moves to lavender and settles on vanilla. Notino describes "a distinct minty scent", then "iconic lavender... reminiscent of the purity of classic men's shaving soap", rounded off by "sensual vanilla".

Divine starts with a salty, sea-like note, then a snow meringue, and ends on lily. Notino calls the meringue "delicate, delicious and gourmand" and says the lily lends "a distinctive, radiantly feminine character".

The fragrances themselves are unchanged. Retailer visuals describe the editions as "same fragrance, different outfit".

The 2026 bottles are not to be confused with the earlier winter-train and tartan collector bottles. Those are still listed on jeanpaulgaultier.com US as "Last units": the Gaultier Divine Collector EDP 3.4 oz at $182 and the Le Male Elixir Collector Parfum at $180.

What Makes the Jean Paul Gaultier Collector Editions 2026 Different?

• Tarot theme: Notino describes a secret festive evening with candlelight and a tarot deck on the table. Campaign images frame both bottles in ornate, gold tarot-card-style borders on a deep red background.
• Gold mesh with stones: Le Male's torso is set with clear stones in a studded pattern. Divine's corset has red stones arranged in a V-shaped corset pattern.
• Unchanged juices: Only the bottle and the red-and-gold case are new.

Formula and Packaging

• Le Male Collector Edition EDT: Notino lists spearmint leaf oil, lavender oil and vanillin among the ingredients. The case is designed like a tarot deck "full of symbols and hidden meanings", according to Notino.
• Gaultier Divine Collector Edition EDP: Notino credits the formula to Quentin Bisch and lists vanillin and jasmine oil among the ingredients. The bottle comes in a tarot-themed red-and-gold case.
