Ravie Beauty released four new shades of its Soft Definition™ Longwear Lip Liner on 25 September 2026, bringing the range to eight shades at $18 (US) each. The new shades are Macaron, Strawberry, Truffle and Plum, and they are available now at ravie.com.
What's New: Four Fresh Shades
The release date for the new shades was 25 September 2026 on Ravie Beauty's official site. The additions are:
- Macaron: a soft neutral pink
- Strawberry: a bright neutral pink
- Truffle: a medium cool brown, deeper and greyer than Almond
- Plum: a neutral berry brown
They join the original four: Honey (muted neutral beige), Almond (cool brown), Fig (neutral mauve) and Mocha (deep brown). According to Ravie, a shade close to your natural lip colour gives subtle definition, while a deeper shade gives more contrast. The brand points to Almond or Truffle for more shape and contrast, and to Strawberry or Plum for more colour.

Ravie Beauty describes Soft Definition™ as a liner that is creamy and blendable but also longwear. According to the brand:
- Smooth glide: it glides on easily, even along the outer edge of the lips. Ravie credits jojoba and other conditioning ingredients for the smooth, creamy feel.
- Blendable before it sets: the edges can be softened with a fingertip while the formula is still creamy.
- Waterproof and smudge-proof once set: the brand says it stays put after it dries down.
- Buildable: it can be applied lightly for a hint of shape or built up for a more sculpted lip.
- Helps prevent bleeding: Ravie says lining before lipstick helps keep colour from spreading past the lip line.
Ravie notes that the liner is less suited to anyone who prefers a very sheer pencil or wants to keep blending long after application.
How to Use It
- Line your lips. Outline them, or fill them in completely for more colour. For softer edges, blend with a fingertip straight away. Working one section at a time helps.
- Let it set. Give it a moment before adding lipstick, gloss or balm on top.
- Wear. According to Ravie, it stays in place once set.
Ravie also suggests filling in the whole lip with liner before adding lipstick or gloss. The brand says this helps the colour on top last longer, or the liner can be worn alone. The pencil is sharpenable, so any compatible cosmetic sharpener can be used to refresh the tip.
Price and Value
All eight shades cost $18 each in the US. The price is the same for the original shades and the new ones. Ravie describes the formula as clean, vegan, cruelty-free and made in the USA. The brand also says it will make things right if a shade isn't what you expected.
