Background

According to Marie Claire, Donatella took over Versace in 1997 following the death of her brother, founder Gianni Versace. CNN reports that she stepped down as chief creative officer of Versace in March 2025 after nearly 28 years. She moved to a newly created role of chief brand ambassador, and Dario Vitale was named her successor as CCO. Vogue reports that Versace was subsequently acquired by Prada Group last December.

This is not Revolve's first beauty partnership. Vogue notes that the retailer's joint venture with Cardi B, which Marie Claire reports was announced in April 2025, marked its entry into the beauty category. WWD separately mentions Revolve Los Angeles, a fashion brand with ambassador Bella Hadid. These are distinct ventures in different categories.

BeautyTalkClub will update this post when the name and first products are revealed. Other new brand announcements and launches are collected in our BeautyTalkClub beauty news section.
