The Danessa Myricks Beauty Gloss On Lock Kit pairs a full-size GlossWork gloss in Kaleidoscope with a mirror keychain and is on sale now at $26. The limited-edition gift set from Danessa Myricks Beauty is sold on the brand's website and at Sephora, which lists it as the "Lip Gloss On Lock Kit Makeup Gift Set." The brand's Instagram calls it the "Gloss On Lock Holiday Kit."

It launches alongside the brand's new eyeshadow palette, the Danessa Myricks Lightwork VIII Freedom Palette.

Updated 17 October 2026: The kit is now on sale on the brand's US site, at Sephora US and Sephora Canada, at Cult Beauty in the UK and on the brand's EU store. Because it's limited edition, stock can change quickly.

On 16 October 2026, Danessa Myricks Beauty announced on Instagram that the Gloss On Lock Kit was available now on its website and at Sephora. Glam Junkies had earlier reported a 15 October 2026 US launch. The brand's EU store said orders would ship from 16 October 2026. The brand hasn't published a separate launch-date statement.

The Kaleidoscope Shade

Kaleidoscope is a clear gloss with multicoloured holographic glitter. In the campaign images it appears on lips as a sheer, sparkling gloss.

Cult Beauty describes Kaleidoscope as an exclusive clear topper flecked with holographic shimmer. It can be worn alone or layered over lip colour. According to Glam Junkies, the shade is new, limited edition and sold only in this kit. It is not one of the 14 permanent GlossWork shades listed on the brand site.

Glam Junkies spells the shade "Kaleidescope," but the box spells it "Kaleidoscope." Don't confuse it with Danessa Myricks' ColorFix Glaze in Kaleidoscope, which is a different, older product.

How to Use

Danessa Myricks Beauty recommends applying GlossWork directly to bare lips as a treatment gloss. For best results, the brand suggests using it twice a day. It can also be layered over liner, lipstick or stain.

Kay Beauty, the makeup brand Katrina Kaif co-owns with Nykaa, has launched the Hydra Luscious Hydrating Lip Gloss Stain in eight shades at ₹1,199 for 3.5ml. It went live on kaybeauty.com on 30 September 2026 and is being promoted as a festive pick for Diwali.

What's New

The Hydra Luscious Lip Gloss Stain is a hybrid formula. Kay Beauty describes it as a "Hydrating Gloss + Stain": it goes on with a glossy finish, then leaves a natural, long-wearing stain as the shine wears off. On its own site the brand calls it the Hydra Luscious Gloss Stain. On Instagram it appears as the "Hydraluscious Lip Gloss Stain" under the hashtag #GlossUpThisDiwali.

According to Kay Beauty, the formula is:

• Weightless and non-sticky, with rich colour and a high-shine finish
• Designed to lock onto lips with almost zero transfer or bleeding
• Made to give fuller-looking lips with intense hydration
• Built on what the brand calls HipDewy Technology, its name for a juicy, lightweight texture that seals in shine and colour while helping lips retain moisture

Shades

The range has eight shades: Love, Grace, Tender, Tranquil, Bliss, Kind, Gentle and Honey. Going by the official swatches, they run from nude-peach and brown tones through pinks to deep reds.

In the campaign imagery, Katrina Kaif wears Honey, Rudrapriya wears Kind and Janhavi wears Tender.

What the Brand Says About the Formula

Kay Beauty highlights three ingredients:

• Chamomile extract, which the brand says soothes dry lips
• Vitamin C
• Murumuru butter

The full ingredient list starts with water and includes silicones, film-formers and fragrance (parfum). Kay Beauty labels the product vegan and displays a PETA cruelty-free icon. It is manufactured by Cosmax Indonesia and imported by Nykaa KK Beauty.

How to Use

Kay Beauty gives these steps:

1. Apply to clean lips. Outline the contours first, then fill in from the centre towards the outer corners.
2. Wear one coat for a sheer, glazed tint.
3. Layer for more colour and shine.
4. Reapply at any time.

REFY has launched a limited-edition Mini Lip Gloss Trio at Sephora US for $30. The set pairs the brand's signature Clear gloss with two new shimmer shades, Gaia and Solstice, in travel-size tubes. It is sold only at Sephora and is available to buy now. It is part of the REFY Holiday 2026 Gift Sets.

What's New

This is a new REFY mini set, not a restock. It contains three glosses:

• Clear: REFY's signature transparent gloss
• Gaia: a cool, green-gold glow
• Solstice: a warm, bronzed shimmer

Gaia and Solstice are limited-edition shades. They are the same two that appear in REFY's Shimmer Duo Set (Cream Shimmer + Shimmer Lip Gloss).

Sephora's product page lists the set as New, Limited Edition and Only at Sephora. On 5 October 2026, Sephora's search results also labelled it App Exclusive.

Formula and Key Ingredients

According to Sephora's listing, the formula is lightweight and nonsticky. It is described as hydrating the lips while leaving a smooth, high-shine finish. The listed ingredients include:

• Jojoba seed oil
• Shea butter
• Meadowfoam seed oil
• Sodium hyaluronate (a form of hyaluronic acid)

How to Use

Sephora's directions are to squeeze a small amount from the tube and glide it over the lips. The brand positions the glosses to be worn alone or layered over REFY Lip Sculpt (sold separately).

Each tube holds 0.17 oz / 5 mL, which Sephora describes as travel-friendly.

How It Compares with Previous Releases

REFY released an earlier Mini Lip Gloss Trio in 2025 with the shades Clear, Rosewood and Topaz. That set is still listed on refybeauty.com at £22. The new Sephora trio keeps the Clear shade and swaps Rosewood and Topaz for the shimmer shades Gaia and Solstice. The two sets are different products.

Indie brand Bella Beauté Bar has announced the Sheer Veil Lipgloss, a range of four new lip glosses that launched on 9 October 2026 at bellabeautebar.com for $16 each.

The Garden of Spells collection ends with the Bella Beauté Bar Garden of Spells Velvet Veil Lip Muds, seven new lip mud shades the brand says are coming soon after a production delay.

What's New

The Sheer Veil Lipgloss arrives as four shades, each named after an "elixir" from a witch's apothecary in the brand's launch story:

• Wildflower Syrup: drawn from wildflowers, according to the story
• Twilight Nectar: from blossoms that open only at dusk
• Celestial Sap: collected beneath the oldest trees
• Obsidian Honey: found deep in the garden, described by the brand as "a honey as black as polished stone"

The campaign image, shot by photographer ZYEL (@zyelbeauty), shows four tall tubes with clear caps. Each is printed "SHEER VEIL" in gothic lettering, with the BB monogram on the cap. Three glosses appear in nude, mauve and rosy-brown tones, and one is black. Bella Beauté Bar has not said which tube matches which shade name. The only shade colour the brand has described is Obsidian Honey.

What the Brand Says

Bella Beauté Bar started in New York in 2018 and now operates from Sarasota, Florida. The brand says it specialises in smudge-proof, waterproof and long-lasting cosmetics. According to the brand, it is Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free, and all of its items are paraben-free and vegan.

The brand currently quotes an order processing time of 5–10 business days before shipment for non-pre-order items. It also says international orders must add Route tracking insurance to be covered if a parcel is lost.

How It Compares with Previous Releases

Sheer Veil joins Bella Beauté Bar's existing lip lineup, which includes:

Lip Lab Mocha Marshmallow Lip Gloss is a limited-edition sheer beige gloss with a creamy cocoa scent, sold as Lip Lab's October Flavor of the Month. It went on sale on 2 October 2026 for $35 in Lip Lab stores and at liplab.com. Lip Lab describes it as a "sheer beige lip gloss with a creamy cocoa scent". It comes in three shades, two of them in-store only, and the first in-person buyers at each store get a free lip scrub.

Release Date

Mocha Marshmallow went on sale on Friday, 2 October 2026, and is labelled [03] on Lip Lab's Flavor of the Month card. According to Lip Lab, each Flavor of the Month is available for a limited time only. The brand has not said when Mocha Marshmallow will be withdrawn. The previous Flavor of the Month gloss was Lip Lab's Cookie Crumble coral lip gloss, which Lip Lab said was sold through 1 October.

Mocha Marshmallow is a sheer gloss with a creamy cocoa scent. Lip Lab's Flavor of the Month product page lists the ingredients. They include polybutene, synthetic beeswax, castor seed oil, sodium hyaluronate and ethyl vanillin, with colourants varying by shade. It sits among Lip Lab's lip glosses in our makeup releases. It arrives in the same month as another sheer formula, the Bella Beauté Bar Sheer Veil Lipgloss, which went on sale on 9 October 2026.

In-Store Launch Offer

The first 50 people to buy the shade at each Lip Lab location get a free full-size Agave+ Lip Scrub, in stores only, while supplies last. This is Lip Lab's Agave Weekly Lip Scrub, which sells for $25 at liplab.com. According to Lip Lab, it exfoliates with fair trade golden sugar, which buffs lips physically, and papaya enzymes, which loosen dead skin cells. The brand says its agave extract and squalane help nourish and hydrate. Lip Lab describes the scrub as clean, vegan and cruelty free.

How to Use

Lip Lab's directions for the scrub are to scoop a little, massage it over the lips and wipe it away, with water optional. According to the brand, the scrub also helps remove longwear lip colour. For the gloss, Lip Lab says to swipe it on and add layers for more vibrancy and saturation.

What Makes the Sugar & Spice Mini Lip Trio Different?

• It holds three mini glosses. The Lawless Beauty Cinnamon Sugar Lip Duo, released at Sephora the same week, is a $33 set of two full-size items: a Forget The Filler gloss in Buns and an Overnight Lip-Plumping Mask.
• Two of its three shades, Sugar Sugar and Cocoa Plum, are limited edition. The third, Blushed Sand, is a best-selling shade.

Formula Details

According to Lawless, the minis use the formula of its Forget The Filler Lip-Plumping Glosses, powered by the Maxi-Lip complex. The brand says the gloss "plumps without the sting" and gives hydration, visible plumping and high shine. It cites an independent study on the Maxi-Lip ingredient complex, not on the finished gloss. REFY's Shimmer Duo Set is a limited-edition set pairing a Cream Shimmer highlighter with a matching full-size Shimmer Lip Gloss in Gaia or Solstice. How to Use

REFY says to apply the Cream Shimmer with the fingers using light pressure, layering it to build intensity. For the gloss, REFY says to squeeze a small amount onto the metal applicator and glide it over the lips. Fenty Beauty's Holiday Windows Collection 2026 is a limited-edition gift lineup led by the Glossy Posse IX lip set, a Gloss Bomb ornament and Mini Milks. The Fenty Beauty collection spans makeup, skincare, body care and hair gift sets priced from $24 to $160 (US). It went on sale on 23 September 2026.
