Formula and Packaging
According to Ole Henriksen, the formula is "clinically crafted" with lip-specific peptides, Scandinavian cloudberry oil and kokum butter. The brand's infographic, headlined "8 hours of plumping hydration", also credits:
- Kokum and mango seed butters with soothing, nourishing and conditioning lips.
- Acai sterols with helping to strengthen the skin barrier and boost hydration.
- Peptides with making lips look more defined and fuller.
- Cloudberry oil with providing intense moisture and visibly softening lips.
For the existing Pout Preserve formula, the brand cites a 4-week clinical study on 39 people, reporting clinically fuller-looking lips in one week. In that study, 95% agreed it rescues dry, flaky lips. Ole Henriksen says the formula does not tingle.
Scandi Candy comes in a pink squeeze tube with a doser tip, printed "I ♥ OLEHENRIKSEN". A close-up image shows its pink jelly texture.
The brand's directions are to swipe it onto lips for hydration at any time of day or night. It can also be layered over lip colour for added shine.
