YSL Beauty's Crystal Dust and Crystal Glaze are two new limited-edition clear, transparent-shimmer lip gloss shades for Loveshine and Candy Glaze. The YSL Loveshine Plumping Lip Oil Gloss in 00 Crystal Dust costs $40.00 and the YSL Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick in 00 Crystal Glaze costs $43.00 at Sephora US, where both were on sale by 20 October 2026. They are sold separately, not as a boxed set, and join Yves Saint Laurent's existing Loveshine and Candy Glaze shade ranges.

Both shades arrive in the same season as the YSL Beauty Holiday 2026 Makeup Collection, which includes Loveshine collector and gift sets.

YSL Beauty hasn't announced an official release date for either shade. Both were on sale at Sephora US by 20 October 2026, where they are labelled "New", "Limited Edition" and "Online Only". By the same date, YSL Beauty US also listed both shades as the first swatch on each product page.

What Makes the YSL Crystal Dust and Crystal Glaze Shades Different?

  • Both are limited-edition shades with clear, transparent-shimmer finishes, and they sit first in each product's shade list on YSL Beauty US.
  • The two come in different formats: a liquid lip oil gloss with a jumbo applicator, and a click-up gloss stick.

Formula and Packaging

  • Loveshine Plumping Lip Oil Gloss: According to Sephora and YSL Beauty, it is a hybrid formula infused with 95 percent oils. The brand says ginger and pepper oils create a warm and cool tingling sensation for fuller-looking lips. It also contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. YSL claims up to 24 hours of hydration and eight hours of nonsticky shine. In a consumer test of 66 women cited by the brand, lips felt softer and smoother and looked plumper after one day, and felt more hydrated after seven days. It comes with a jumbo applicator.
  • Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick: YSL describes it as a hybrid that combines glassy gloss shine with the care of a lip balm. The brand says the jelly-like formula is nonsticky. It contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, mango oils and pomegranate extract, and YSL claims up to 12-hour hydration. YSL directs users to turn the base of the tube six clicks before applying.
