What's New
Cashmere Frost is a separate new scent, not a reformulation or a stronger version of PHLUR's existing Cashmere Skin body mist. The blogger says fans hoping for a Cashmere Skin eau de parfum will still have to wait, because Cashmere Frost is another body mist. Based on the name and notes, it looks like a colder, frostier companion to Cashmere Skin.
No release date has been given. The blogger expects Cashmere Frost to arrive soon after Heavy Cream, PHLUR's other upcoming launch. This timing is an estimate, not a brand statement.
The Scent Profile
The leaked notes are arranged as a conventional pyramid:
- Top: iced bergamot, almond, tiare flower
- Heart: snowdrop, jasmine, silver aldehydes
- Base: musk, vanilla cream, cashmere woods
The images credit perfumer Alexandra Monet with this description of the scent: "The cold air against your skin, and the warmth of being wrapped in cashmere." The structure follows that idea:
- Iced bergamot and silver aldehydes give the cold, sparkling opening.
- Vanilla cream, musk and cashmere woods form the soft, warm base.
- Almond and vanilla cream suggest a light gourmand side.
Products and Packaging
The leaked images show two products side by side:
- A full-size Cashmere Frost mist
- A smaller travel size
Both come in a frosted grey-blue bottle with a white cap. The labels read "Cashmere Frost" and "Hair & Body Fragrance Mist." The bottles are styled with snow, ice, knitwear and snowdrop flowers, which suggests a cold-weather launch. PHLUR has not confirmed the exact volumes or the price of either size.
How to Use a Hair & Body Mist
Body mists are typically lighter than an eau de parfum. Common ways to apply them:
- Spray on damp skin after showering, which can help the scent last longer.
- Mist lightly over brushed hair from arm's length. Avoid saturating the roots.
- Reapply through the day as needed, since mists usually fade faster than perfume.
- Layer it with an unscented or similarly scented body lotion for more longevity.
Where to Buy
PHLUR usually sells through phlur.com and Sephora, but no retailer has confirmed it will carry Cashmere Frost.
