Skylar Fated Flame Fragrance Notes
Skylar highlights three key notes: cherry purée, chocolate ganache and oud. Its full pyramid is:
- Top: bergamot, cherry purée, ginger zest
- Heart: black rose, orris butter, chocolate ganache
- Base: amber, oud, sandalwood
What Does Skylar Fated Flame Smell Like?
The opening pairs cherry with citrus from bergamot and spice from ginger zest. The heart combines rose, orris and chocolate. The base sets oud against amber and sandalwood.
Skylar describes the opening as "juicy, jammy black cherry" and says the chocolate ganache adds a gentle sweetness. The brand calls the base "dark, sexy, and quietly elevated" and says the oud stays soft and subtle from first spray to final dry-down. On its product page, Skylar describes Fated Flame as "oud reimagined - rich, fruity, and warm," with "a softened oud, smoothed by sandalwood and amber."
The page also carries this quote: "I wanted to create the perfect oud - sexy, moody, and just a little fruity. Dark and sultry, but never too much. She simmers, revealing something new with every wear. She's the oud I've always wanted but couldn't find, so I made her myself."
Skylar's earlier launches include the Skylar Sunkissed Dahlia Eau de Parfum, a dahlia, apple and amber scent, and the fresher SKYLAR Water's Edge - Apple Cucumber Waterlily.

What Makes Fated Flame Different?
- Skylar positions it as an introduction to oud, with the oud softened by sandalwood and amber.
- It pairs oud with dessert notes, chocolate ganache and cherry purée, which Skylar lists among its three key notes.
- It launched in two formats, a 1.7 oz bottle and a travel spray, with two days of Sephora app access before the US nationwide launch.
Bottle, Formula and Application
- Fated Flame Eau de Parfum (1.7 oz): a square glass bottle with a burgundy-to-black gradient, with "SKYLAR" and "Fated Flame" written in pink script.
- Fated Flame Travel Spray: a slim cylinder with a silver cap and the same burgundy-black gradient label reading "Eau de Parfum."
Skylar lists the ingredients as Organic Sugar Cane Alcohol Denat., Parfum/Fragrance and Aqua/Water/Eau. The brand recommends applying it to pulse points such as the wrists, neck and below the ears, and tapping the wrists together rather than rubbing them.
