Cosmic Brushes, the UK indie brand, released the Delights Palette on June 23, 2023 at 6 pm UK time on cosmicbrushes.co.uk. It's a 20-pan palette of candy-bright pastels and neons with 14 mattes and 6 metallics. It is still listed at the launch price of £25. Here's a shade-by-shade guide.
What Are All 20 Shades in the Delights Palette?

Mattes:
- Whipped Cream: matte white
- Zesty: electric pastel yellow-green
- Minty: soft pastel mint
- Lollipop: bright turquoise
- Smoothie: bright electric pink
- Marshmallow: pastel pink
- Buttercream: warm pale yellow
- Gingerbread: warm light orange
- Milkshake: bright pastel lilac
- Jelly Bean: deep fuchsia
- Charms: deep purple
- Sweetie: cool pastel blue
- Slushy: bright azure blue
- Ice Pop: sky blue
Shimmers and multichromes:
- Fizzy: soft metallic mint
- Candy Floss: sparkly candy-pink metallic
- Frosting: purple-and-yellow duochrome metallic

- Delicious: iridescent metallic with an ultraviolet purple-to-blue shift
- Sprinkles: a high-shine foiled multichrome that shifts from bright fuchsia to vivid green, with orange and yellow in between
Which Shades Are Eyeshadows and Which Are Pressed Pigments?
Cosmic Brushes lists two ingredient sets. Nine shades are eyeshadows: Whipped Cream, Minty, Fizzy, Lollipop, Sprinkles, Buttercream, Sweetie, Ice Pop and Delicious. The other eleven are pressed pigments: Zesty, Smoothie, Candy Floss, Marshmallow, Gingerbread, Frosting, Milkshake, Jelly Bean, Charms, Sugarplum and Slushy.
Why it matters: in many markets, including the US, some pigments used in pressed-pigment shades aren't approved for use around the eyes. Check the label for each shade before using it on your eyelids.
Who Is It For?
Our take: this is a palette for colorful, playful looks. With no browns or taupes, you'll need a separate neutral palette for transition shades. The official arm swatches show the brights staying vivid on deep skin, which is where pastel mattes often struggle.
