In the US, The Bestsellers Set costs $295 and The Travel Brush Set costs $184. Both have been on sale since September 2026, and the Vegan Leather Makeup Bag is also sold separately for $98.

When Did the Hourglass Holiday 2026 Gift Sets Launch?

Hourglass hasn't announced an official release date. The Bestsellers Set's product page on hourglasscosmetics.com carries a publication date of 11 September 2026. The sets were reported as on sale in September 2026, with product details published on 17 September 2026.

Price

In the US, The Bestsellers Set costs $295, The Travel Brush Set $184 and the Vegan Leather Makeup Bag $98. Hourglass hasn't announced UK or European prices.

What's Inside The Bestsellers Set ($295)

Hourglass describes it as "a limited-edition set of full-size essentials for the ultimate holiday glow." It holds five items: four full-size products and a makeup bag. Hourglass doesn't list the size of each product on the set page.

• Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balm in Slip: according to Hourglass, a 3-in-1 hybrid that hydrates like a balm, plumps for fuller-looking lips and gives the high-shine finish of a gloss.
• Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara in Ultra Black: the brand says its film-forming technology coats each lash in lightweight fibers for more definition, lift and length, with a fanned-out finish and smudge-proof wear.
• Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked in Hope: a limited-edition face palette with five new Ambient Lighting shades. Hourglass says they are meant to "create your perfect flush and lit-from-within glow." French jewelry designer Lauren Rubinski designed the palette, and its lid carries an exclusive heart and key charm.
• Ambient Lighting Edit Brush II (limited-edition, in Love): a double-ended brush. Hourglass says the slanted end is for blush and bronzer and the domed, tapered end is for highlighter.
• NEW Vegan Leather Makeup Bag: made from vegan Saffiano leather, with a LOVE makeup bag charm and one large inner pocket.

The Hope palette continues Hourglass's limited-edition Ambient Lighting Edit format. That format includes the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit: Blush & Glow Vol. II and Bronze & Highlight Palettes launched in April 2024. The Ambient Lighting line also includes the four-shade Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette Golden Rose Edit.

What's Inside The Travel Brush Set ($184)

The set holds six items: five brushes and a brush bag. These are travel sizes of Hourglass's complexion brushes, a double-ended eye brush and a new blush brush, all in a limited-edition gold finish with a custom-designed travel brush case. Brush lengths are not published.

• Ambient Soft Glow Foundation Brush (Travel Size): according to the brand, designed to mimic the control of the fingertips, with vegan fiber technology and custom bristles.
• Vanish Seamless Finish Concealer Brush (Travel Size): the brand says its half-moon shape is for application to the contours of the face, especially under the eyes.
• Veil Powder Brush (Travel Size): according to Hourglass, a limited-edition travel-size brush for loose powder.
• NEW No. 15 Blush Brush (Travel Size): an angled stippling brush with custom bristles.
• Double Ended Eyeshadow Brush: combines elements of the Nº 3 and Nº 6 brushes, with a flat side for laying down eyeshadow and a fluffy side for diffusing it.
• NEW Travel Makeup Brush Bag: a limited-edition brush bag made from vegan Saffiano leather.

What Makes the Hourglass Holiday 2026 Gift Sets Different?

• The Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked palette in Hope has five new Ambient Lighting shades. Its lid is designed by French jewelry designer Lauren Rubinski, with a heart and key charm.
• All four products in The Bestsellers Set are full size, including the limited-edition Ambient Lighting Edit Brush II in Love.

The Vegan Leather Makeup Bag ($98)

The bag from The Bestsellers Set is also sold separately for $98. It is made from vegan Saffiano leather, and according to Hourglass it maintains its structured shape over time. It measures 222.87 x 132.82mm and has one large inner pocket. Hourglass says the bag's LOVE charm "represents and evokes self-love, confidence, and the heart of strength."

The Hourglass Love Ambient Lighting Edit Palette is the fourth complexion powder palette in Hourglass's Ambient Lighting Edit series. It went on sale on 10 September 2026 and costs $98 at Sephora US, where it is sold as the Love colourway of the Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette. It holds six 1.4 g powders, three of them new shades, and follows the Wish, Hope and Luck editions.

Updated 20 October 2026: price, contents and shades added from Sephora's product page. Hourglass's own site lists only the Wish, Hope and Luck palettes, so Sephora is currently the only place we found the Love palette.

Release Date

Hourglass set 10 September 2026 as the release date for the Love Ambient Lighting Edit Palette at Sephora. Sephora now sells it as the "Love" option on its Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette page, alongside Wish, Hope and Luck. It is one of several September 2026 makeup launches, alongside the jane iredale Just Kissed pH Lip Oil, which went on sale the same month. More launches are collected on our makeup releases page.

Shades

Two of the Love palette's three blushes are new (Vivid Coral and Electric Pink), and Rose Gold Glow is a new strobe powder. Natural Bronze, Dim Light and Rose Heat are existing Ambient Lighting shades. According to Hourglass, the Love Palette continues the brand's practice of pairing complexion powders with a message of positivity. The brand says it is designed to deliver its signature soft-focus, radiant finish.

What Makes the Hourglass Love Ambient Lighting Edit Palette Different?

• It is the fourth palette in the Ambient Lighting Edit series, following Wish, Hope and Luck.
• We found it only at Sephora. Hourglass's own page states that the earlier custom Unlocked palettes could be customized only on the Hourglass website and were not available at retailers.
• According to Hourglass, it pairs complexion powders with a message of positivity, the theme carried by the series' Wish, Hope and Luck names.

How It Compares with Previous Releases

Earlier Ambient Lighting Edit Palettes were released as limited editions with multi-use powders. According to Hourglass's Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked page, the Wish, Hope and Luck palettes introduced fifteen new Ambient Lighting shades. The brand says the powders use its Photoluminescent Technology to filter out harsh light, and that the shades can be used individually or layered.

Hourglass describes the packaging of those palettes as made from tin to reduce plastic, with charms designed by French jewelry designer Lauren Rubinski. Hourglass also says it will donate 5% of net profits from that collection to the Nonhuman Rights Project. Sephora's listing for the Unlocked Palette, which includes Love, describes the same tin packaging, Lauren Rubinski charms and Nonhuman Rights Project donation.

Hourglass Equilibrium Transformative Cleansing Balm is a balm-to-oil cleanser that costs $65 in the US and comes in an 86 g jar. It's part of Hourglass's Equilibrium skincare line and contains the brand's Amnio Youth Lipids, sunflower seed oil and avocado oil.

When Did the Hourglass Equilibrium Cleansing Balm Launch?

Hourglass hasn't published a launch date. The balm was already on the brand's own site when we first reported it on 26 June 2024.

How Much Does the Equilibrium Cleansing Balm Cost?

It costs $65 at hourglasscosmetics.com and at Sephora US, where it's listed as online only. In the UK, Cult Beauty sells the 86 g jar for £59. NK in Sweden lists it at 770 kr, and Sephora Saudi Arabia at 350 SAR.

What Does Hourglass Say the Balm Does?

According to Hourglass, the balm melts away long-wearing makeup, sunscreen and waterproof mascara. It turns into an oil when massaged into skin. The brand says it hydrates without stripping or drying skin and describes it as non-comedogenic, vegan and cruelty-free.

The ingredient Hourglass highlights is Amnio Youth Lipids, its own lipid blend used across the Equilibrium line. The brand says the blend is built on vegan phosphatidylglycerol, which it describes as mimicking a nutrient found in amniotic fluid, and that it replenishes moisture with restoring lipids.

What's in the Formula?

The full ingredient list on Hourglass's site starts with cetyl ethylhexanoate, sunflower seed oil and avocado oil. It also contains several essential oils (Atlas cedar bark, eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary and clary sage), plus linalool and limonene. Hourglass lists it as formulated without alcohol, GMOs or mineral oil. Readers who avoid essential oils or fragrance allergens should check the list on the pack before buying.

How Does It Compare With Hourglass's Other Equilibrium Cleanser?

The balm is the line's second cleanser. The Equilibrium Rebalancing Cream Cleanser costs $25 to $52 depending on size. The line also includes the Restoring Essence ($20 to $65), the Restorative Hydrating Cream ($33 to $94) and the Resurfacing Retinoid Treatment ($110).

How to Use It

Hourglass says to scoop a small amount onto dry skin with the included spatula and massage it in, focusing on areas with makeup or oil. Then rinse with warm water or wipe off with a damp washcloth. The brand recommends storing the jar in a cool, dark place.

Which Palette Should You Choose?

Our take: the difference is what you want the color to do. Blush & Glow Volume II is built around three blushes (two mauves and a poppy), while Bronze & Highlight is built around two bronzers. Both share the Champagne Strobe Light highlighter, so you get it either way. The poppy Diffused Heat is the most distinctive shade across the two, going by the description.

Hourglass says the powders filter surrounding light to blur imperfections and refine skin's appearance, and can be used alone or layered. Our launch post said the palettes showcase the best-selling Ambient Lighting powders, each with a finishing powder, color and highlighter.

Is It Still Available?

These were limited-edition palettes, so they may be sold out. We did not check stock at any retailer. A later Hourglass release, the Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked, appears on Hourglass's site in search results, but it is a different palette.
