The lip tint still costs $20 on rhodeskin.com, the same as the unscented version. rhode announced the change on 22 October 2026, and the scented listings went live on its site the same day.

The scented core lineup builds on the rhode Peptide Lip Tint in Pretzel, the scented shade that joined the core lineup earlier.

rhode announced the change on Instagram on 22 October 2026 with the line "Scented tints are here forever." The scented versions of six shades were on sale at rhodeskin.com the same day. According to the brand, unscented versions remain available on rhodeskin.com "while they're still around." rhode hasn't given an end date for them.

rhode said it made the scents permanent because "you've always loved the peptide lip tint scents." The shade and scent descriptions below are rhode's own wording.

Two core shades were already scented before this update:
- Pretzel: a shimmery warm mauve with a caramel-glazed pretzel scent.
- Jelly bean: a shimmery sheer pink with a sweet pink jelly bean scent, made for Hailey's 27th birthday.
