When Did the Clinique Limited-Edition Black Honey Almost Lipstick Launch?
Clinique hasn't announced an official release date. The product page first appeared on Clinique's US store on 5 October 2026 and was in stock when we checked on 13 October 2026. BeautyVelle covered the launch as part of Clinique's 2026 Christmas season releases and called it "Black Honey Diamond". Clinique's own name for it is "Limited-Edition Almost Lipstick in Black Honey".
Price
The limited edition costs $29 (US) at clinique.com. It shouldn't be confused with Clinique's permanent Almost Lipstick in Black Honey in the regular silver tube, which is listed at $25 on clinique.com. The two contain the same shade and formula. Clinique hasn't published UK, Canadian or European pricing for the limited edition.
Shade
There is one shade, 06 Black Honey. Clinique says it is "famous for its chameleon-like ability to flatter all skin tones yet look different on everyone." Clinique also states on its product imagery that Black Honey is the "#1 lip color shade in the US," citing Circana U.S. Prestige Beauty data for the 12 months ending June 2023.
Clinique's images include:

- Almost Lipstick formula: According to Clinique, the formula is 95% conditioning ingredients. Its base includes castor seed oil, candelilla wax and carnauba wax. The brand says it is made without fragrance, parabens or phthalates. Clinique's launch copy, as quoted by BeautyVelle, describes the texture as "not quite lipstick, not quite gloss," closer to a layerable balm that gives a sheer, glossy slip of colour.

How to Wear It
Clinique says the formula is forgiving enough to apply without a mirror. For a deeper shade, the brand suggests adding more swipes. It can be worn alone or under or over other Clinique lip colours.
