e.l.f. says the primer gives the powder long-lasting color that blends and builds easily, wears weightlessly, and works to minimize shine for a smooth matte finish. Both formulas include vitamin E and jojoba seed oil.

Our take: the pitch is a powder that lasts on skin without a separate cheek primer. The strongest evidence is the review volume: over 900 combined reviews at 4.7 stars, which is a strong signal even allowing for the usual positive skew on a brand's own site.

Blush or Bronzer First?

Start with the bronzer if you want warmth and shape across the face, and you can match your depth to one of the six names above.
