ColourPop New Releases

There's something about a warm, desert-toned palette that keeps pulling people back, and ColourPop's Rock On Collection leaned right into it. It launched on colourpop.com in August 2023, inspired by the red rocks of Sedona. The collection had a $14 nine-pan palette and a two-piece Super Shock Shadow set. Three years on, one half is still around.

What's in the Rock On Shadow Palette?

Nine shades of what ColourPop calls "warm, earthy terracottas, neutrals and bronzes", in Matte, Metallic and Matte Sparkle finishes. It uses ColourPop's ultra-pigmented pressed powder formula, which the brand says is long-lasting, applies evenly and "blends like a dream".

The official photos show a creamy ivory, a few soft peachy mattes, a brick red, copper and bronze metallics, and a deep brown for the crease or outer corner. That's enough for an everyday brown look or a bronze smoky eye.

Our take: at $14 for nine pans, this is one of the cheaper ways to get a full warm neutral palette. It's the reason the palette outlived the rest of the launch.

What Was the U Rock Eye Set?

A $22 duo of ColourPop Super Shock Shadows in Sunrise Hike and Rocky Start. Super Shock Shadows are ColourPop's cream-to-powder formula, sold for sparkly, fade-resistant color.

Confirmed: the U Rock set and both of its shades were no longer on colourpop.com on September 25, 2026.

Not confirmed: whether Sunrise Hike or Rocky Start were ever sold on their own, or whether they'll return.

Is the Rock On Palette Still $14?

Yes. ColourPop still listed it at $14 on September 25, 2026, the same as at launch.

FAQ

Is it a good palette for beginners? A nine-pan warm neutral palette with mostly matte shades is an easy one to learn on, and the low price takes the pressure off.

Does it suit cool undertones? It's built around warm terracottas, so people who prefer cool browns may find it too orange. ColourPop sells cool-toned palettes for that.

ColourPop's Once and Flor-al Collection is a limited-edition spring release with a "Garden Party" theme, announced in January 2023 on colourpop.com and in Target stores starting January 29. It included three 9-pan palettes, plus a shadow, gel liners, blush sticks and lip glosses.

What Is in the Once and Flor-al Collection?

According to ColourPop's announcement, the collection includes:

What Is the 4Ever Floral Palette?

The 4Ever Floral is a limited-edition 9-pan palette in a peach and coral story, with five matte and four shimmer shades, according to a search result. It was reported at $14 and made for the Target launch. We did not find shade names or prices for the other two palettes.

Our take: at $14, a 9-pan palette is inexpensive, which fits ColourPop's positioning for the Target release. We haven't swatched it.

What Was the Target Launch?

WWD reported ColourPop's arrival at Target as an exclusive. This collection was made available in Target stores from January 29, 2023, and the announcement stressed that in-store date.

Is It Still Available?

It was a limited-edition spring collection, so it is probably sold out on ColourPop's site. Secondhand and discount retailers have listed the 4Ever Floral palette, but we did not verify current stock or prices.

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?

Confirmed: the collection name, theme, product list and Target date come from ColourPop's announcement.
