There really isn't one. All you can really do Is keep up with top hair tool brands that tend to really do their research. T3, GHD, Bio Ionic, Dyson, and Shark to name a few. Then when articles come out for the new tool they might talk about the science behind them. Although the brands usually releases this info themselves.
I would say their are haps with curly / textured hair.
