u look better without makeup

I have recently started to get together with my new bf. When we were spending time together at home he said “you look better without makeup”. It confused me. How should I react? Is it a compliment or the first red flags? Help me?

You should try to explain to him that you wear makeup for self-expression, not to look good. If he insists that everyone does it to look better, well, run away

Makeup is for you and no one else. If you like it, put makeup on. If he isn't into it, it is his problem
