Closure update: Cover FX announced on January 22, 2026 that it was winding down, and the brand's own shop now shows the message "Our shop is now closed." This post keeps the details of the Correct Stick Color Corrector, which Cover FX upgraded in December 2023 and priced at $34.

What Did the Correct Stick Do?

Cover FX described the upgraded Correct Stick as a color corrector for darkness and dullness. It was meant to address redness around the nose, dark under-eye circles, and dull patches or uneven pigmentation. The velvety texture blended into skin as a seamless base that sat under foundation and concealer without cakey build-up.

Which Color Corrects Which Problem?

Our take: color correctors work by using an opposite shade to cancel a tone. Peach and orange shades are the usual choice for blue-purple circles, and green cancels redness. Going by the shade names alone, Peachy, Flame and Bourbon look like the warm correctors and Matcha looks like the green one. We haven't seen the swatches, so treat this as an inference from the names.

What Happened to Cover FX?

According to Beauty Independent, Cover FX said it had made "the heartfelt decision to begin winding down the Cover FX business," citing tariffs and a shifting global market. The brand had left Sephora in 2021 and Ulta Beauty in 2022.

What Can You Buy Instead?

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?

Confirmed: the December 2023 launch details and $34 price come from Cover FX's announcement. The January 22, 2026 wind-down announcement comes from Beauty Independent, and the "shop is now closed" message is on Cover FX's own site.

Not confirmed: whether the Correct Stick is still sold anywhere else. One search summary of the closure coverage said products would remain on Amazon while supplies lasted, but we could not verify that.
