After years of hinting about creating his own beauty line, James Charles has finally unveiled a sneak peek of his highly anticipated project, Painted.

In an Instagram post, he shared a promotional video and expressed his excitement about the launch of his own makeup brand.

"After 4 years of hard work, my dream is finally coming to life. I can't wait to share these products with you, but for now, enjoy this teaser of what's to come," he wrote.

The brand is expected to hit the market in the summer of 2023.

Kaja's Beauty Bento Forest Night and Coral Sunrise are stacked eyeshadow trios launched in April 2023 with a new Mosaic Glitter Formula from Korea, with five glitters in each shade. They were available on the Sephora app, sephora.com and kajabeauty.com, and retailer listings show them at about $26.

What Is the Mosaic Glitter Formula?

Kaja said the Mosaic Glitter Formula, which comes from Korea, puts five different glitters into each shade for an extra-dimensional look. The launch announcement described it as something "never-before-seen" for the Beauty Bento line. Amazon listings in search results describe the trios as combining mosaic chrome, shimmer and matte finishes.

What Are Forest Night and Coral Sunrise?

• Forest Night (Beauty Bento 19): described in search results as earthy greens and browns.
• Coral Sunrise (Beauty Bento 18): described as coral and pink, or coral peach.

Our take: the pair covers two opposite moods, a cool, mossy one and a warm, sunny one, so they suit different eye colors. We haven't swatched them.

Are These Shades Still Sold?

The text we could read from Kaja's current Beauty Bento page listed other shades (including Chocolate Dahlia, Blueberry Bingsu and Rose Macaron) and didn't mention Forest Night, Coral Sunrise or the Mosaic Glitter Formula, but it wasn't a complete list. Retailer listings, including Amazon, still surfaced for the two shades in search results. We couldn't confirm current stock on Kaja's site or at Sephora.

What Is Confirmed, and What Is Not?

Confirmed: the April 2023 launch details and retailers come from Kaja's announcement. The current Kaja page's regular price of $28 and its different shade set come from the page.

Not confirmed: the current price of these two trios, their availability, and what the two shades look like in swatches.

September 21, 2026 update: we re-checked Kaja's Beauty Bento page. The text we could read didn't mention Forest Night or Coral Sunrise, but it wasn't a complete list.
