Patrick Ta's Spring 2024 launch added three shades to the Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo and five shades to the Major Volume Plumping Gloss. Which Blush Duo Shades Were New for Spring 2024?

• Just Enough: Patrick Ta now lists it as a soft blue pink.
• Not Too Much: now listed as a soft rosey taupe. In 2024 we called it a dusty beige.
• She's The Moment: now listed as a golden peach. In 2024 we called it a soft peachy salmon.

All three are still sold and sit in a range of 21 duo shades. Each compact pairs a crème blush for radiance with a powder blush for a soft matte finish. Patrick Ta suggests layering the crème under the powder for longer-lasting color.

Which Major Volume Gloss Shades Were Added?

Five: Say Less (milky pink), Need Her (soft blush), Obviously (toffee), Mine (dark chocolate) and Want Her (deep wine). They're all still listed, alongside the original shades, in a 13-shade range at $26.

How Does the Plumping Gloss Work?

Patrick Ta calls it a balmy, hydrating gloss that uses warming ingredients to stimulate blood flow to the lips. The ingredient list includes vitamin E nicotinate and extracts of capsicum (pepper), ginger, cinnamon and peppermint. Vitamin E, avocado oil and jojoba oil add shine and moisture.

Our take: expect a tingle. Warming plumpers make lips look fuller for a while. They don't change lip shape, and they can sting on chapped lips.

Is Anything Not Confirmed?

We couldn't find a Sephora listing to compare prices, and Patrick Ta hasn't said whether the Spring 2024 shades are permanent or limited. They're still listed more than two years later, which suggests they joined the core range, but that's our reading, not a brand statement.
